"Ethan!" I scream at the top of my lungs.

He heard me.

He stands completely still and I can feel my heart racing in my chest knowing his eyes are on me and only me.

Grayson shakes his arm trying to gain his attention, but his eyes remain on me. It's until he looks up does he see the cause of his distraction. I know he's grinning when he gives Ethan a smack on the ass, and he says something to him before joining the huddle.

Ethan slowly leans forward, lifting his hands to the sides of his helmet.

I can feel myself falling as I start to push my way through the crowd, almost leaping down the metal stairs. I jump off the bleachers onto the cold turf, and when I look up Ethan has his helmet under his arm.

Without a second thought I start running. I pick up pace with every step and I can feel my eyes overflow, but I'm smiling regardless. Ethan drops his helmet and starts jogging towards me, smiling as well.

The whole world melts around me the closer I get to him, and when I'm only feet away he opens his arms. Damn straight I'm leaping into those puppies.

With all my might I throw myself right into his arms that wrap so tightly around me it feels like I'm home. My legs wrap around his waist in response as he spins me around and around, holding onto me like I'm a prized touchdown. I bury my face in his neck as he lowers me so my feet can touch the ground, but just barely.

"I was praying that you'd come back to me." He whispers into my hair, and my tears flow free all over again.

"I never left." I say against his ear, and we finally pull away only enough to see face to face.

He cradles my face, his smile bigger than ever I've ever seen, and I know I must be a reflection in his eyes.

"I don't know how you can ever forgive me for what I did Ana..."

"Maybe if you kiss me, I just might." he grips my hair in his hands and he presses his forehead to mine.

"God Ana I thought I lost you for good baby believe me she meant-"

"Just fucking kiss me ball boy."

Our lips collide and I'm completely overpowered. It's not hungry, it's not desperate, and it's not lustful. It's pure, innocent, sweet, and everything I've ever wanted. Just as our kiss deepens, I hear the sky explode with a boom of thunder, and before we can part, we're hit with a downpour of raindrops. I can feel Ethan smile against my lips and he grips my waist tighter in his hands.

We part, and even through the sheet of rain I can see a smiling Grayson, and a pissed off Andrea.

"One last question, you still hate me?" Ethan asks, his wet hair glued to his face.

"With all my heart," I reply, smiling. I look into his eyes, and just as he leans in to kiss me more, I add to the statement.

"But I love you so much more."
