It had been another boring day but there had been one perk - no Taehyung. Namjoon had arrived at work to find the younger's cubicle empty and silent. He almost squealed for joy. He couldn't help but feel happiness at the prospect of actually getting work done without Taehyung's constant flirting and terribly pickup lines. It was true, he was starting to have a soft spot for the man but he couldn't let Taehyung know that.

A few hours went by, Namjoon felt happier than ever as he typed away contently on his keyboard. There was no noise other than the regular office hustle and bustle and that's how it should've been everyday in Namjoon's opinion. He liked the peace and quiet and he liked being undisturbed.

An hour or so later there was a small noise of someone clearing their throat behind Namjoon. His eyebrows furrowed, thinking it must have been someone passing by. It happened again, this time louder and a bit closer. Thinking it might've been his boss, Namjoon spun around slowly in his chair to see who could be behind him.

There was a man, standing with his hands clasped together, a nervous smile on his face. Namoon was struck by how handsome he was. His features were smooth, his eyes shining a chestnut brown color. His jet black hair was combed down, covering his forehead but it looked unbelievably soft. Namjoon felt the urge to reach out and run his fingers through the raven locks but he knew that would hardly be professional. The man's clothes were fairly simple - skinny jeans hugged his slim legs and accentuated his hips, a white t shirt poking out from under a dark blue blazer. His shoulders were quite broad and Namjoon felt like the blazer added to them somehow. His smile was dazzling, too - he was so handsome.

"Hi," the man stuck his hand out for Namjoon to shake. Namjoon grasped the hand, noticing how bony the other's fingers were but not minding the feeling. The other bowed as he shook Namjoon's hand, "My name is Kim Seokjin. I work in the other room. I heard there was a new person coming into the office so I thought I'd come by and welcome you."

Namjoon found this man to be very polite, his nervous smile turning into more of a friendly one, "Kim Namjoon... I've actually been working here for awhile now."

Seokjin's smile falter for a moment, "Really? Oh, I'm so sorry..."

Namjoon shook his head and laughed lightly, "No need to apologize. It's only been around a week. I'm happy to meet you."

Seokjin's smile came back, "I have a break right now, I was wondering if maybe you'd like to join me? We could talk and get to know each other?"

Namjoon glanced at the digital clock beside his computer. Seeing the time, he nodded, happy to stretch his legs on the way to the break room and perhaps get something to eat or drink.

The two walked to the break room, chatting about their likes and dislikes. Seokjin said for Namjoon to call him simply Jin. He learned Jin was lder than he, enjoyed cooking and that he had gotten into data analysis because of his family's expectations. He wanted to learn English and perhaps travel to America. Namjoon smiled and offered to teach Jin some English. The older lit up and immediately accepted and the two of them exchanged numbers for a study date.

Jin looked at the time, a thoughtful frown slipping onto his face, "I'm sorry, Namjoon, but I have to go. There's work to be done." He threw his empty cup in the trash bin and smiled at Namjoon.

Namjoon glanced at the lock as well but felt better when he realized he still had a few minutes to enjoy his own beverage, "Ok, hyung. It was nice meeting you."

"It was nice meeting you, too, Namjoon. Maybe we can hang out more." Jin suggested as he gathered his things.

Namjoon grinned, showing his dimples and nodded, "I'd like that."

Jin grinned a well, melting inside from the showing of those dimples, "Good. See you around, then and I'll text you tonight about getting together to study." he waved over is shoulder as he walked to the door.

Jin left the break room, passing Taehyung on his way out. The two nodded to each other, murmuring hellos. Taehyung spotted Namjoon right away, seeing his lean frame leaning comfortably against on of the break room counters. He was seemingly texting on his phone, face turned downward in a concentrated frown. To Taehyung, it made him look adorable. He smirked, knowing the two of them were alone. It seemed Namjoon took his breaks at an odd time just like Taehyung and Jin did.

"That shirt looks good, Joon."

Namjoon, surprised for once, stopped his typing to look up at Taehyung. He knew the surprise was evident on his face and he quickly wiped it off and replaced it with a smile. Perhaps the terrible pickup lines had stopped and Taehyung was going to try and behave?

"Th-thank you," he stuttered out. He looked down at his cup of coffee a bit awkwardly. What should he say besides thank you? Should he compliment Taehyung's outfit as well?

Before Namjoon had anymore time to think about what he should do, Taehyung had already waltzed up and reached out a hand to play with the material of Namjoon's shirt near his stomach, "Do you know what material this is?"

"Umm..."

Taehyung took a fistful of Namjoon's shirt near his chest and pulled him forward to where their noses bumped. Namjoon gulped as a deep chuckled reverberated through Taehyung. The younger winked and answered his own question, "Boyfriend material."

Namjoon pushed Taehyung away with a huff, listening to the fit of small giggles that bubbled in the man's throat. Slipping his phone back into his pocket, Namjoon quickly strode out the door of the break room.
