Taehyung had been relatively quiet on the walk back to Namjoon's. It surprised the older as it seemed he had run out of sexual jokes and dirty pick-up lines for the time being. Most of their conversation was filled by Namjoon. He spoke of many things, his dreams, his aspirations with music and the hopes that he would one day have a pet crab. Taehyung mostly listened, a lazy smile gracing his lips as he took in the excited manner Namjoon spoke about the little things in life and he was amazed he hadn't considered crabs as better pets than cats before. Taehyung watched the way his eyes lit up and especially the way his dimple came out when he laughed for smiled. God, Taehyung just wanted to kiss those dimples until Namjoon couldn't take it anymore.
Before they both knew it, they had arrived at Namjoon's. The porch light was on and shining dimly, waiting for its owner to come and turn it off for the night. Taehyung was glad it wasn't summer, yet. There were no pesky mosquitos in the light buzzing about and interrupting Namjoon's deep voice as he continued on. Namjoon only stopped speaking when he realized where they were.
"This is me!" he chirped, walking up onto his porch and pulling out his keys. Taehyung just nodded, following him up onto the porch as well, deciding it was now or never to make his move to fully redeem himself, not just to Namjoon, but also to himself.
Taehyung leaned in slightly, his hand slipping under Namjoon's chin. The older froze, his eyes going a bit wide but he didn't move away and he didn't push Taehyung away. The younger took that as a good sign and moved even closer. Their faces were barely a breaths width away from each other and still Taehyung didn't kiss him. Their lips brushed together as Taehyung's mouth curved into a smile.
"Looks like we're here...." His voice was quiet, as if being louder might scare Namjoon away.
The older made a noise in the back of his throat in agreement, "Yeah, I guess we are." He paused for a moment, taking in the sight of Taehyung's long, black lashes and the way his eyes looked like a nebula of brown and black so close up, "What are you doing?"
"This?" Taehyung chuckled but still swallowed thickly, "I call this close talking."
Namjoon barely nodded, afraid of hitting Taehyung's face if he wasn't careful, "I like it...."
"Me, too." The younger's eyes flicked back and forth between both of Namjoon's before he smiled a bit, showing his perfect teeth, "May I do something?"
Namjoon's brow furrowed. He had an idea but he still asked, "Like what?"
"Like this...."
Taehyung connected their lips softly. There was nothing lustful or rushed about it. Their lips moved lazily in sync and Namjoon's mind went blank – nothing but a whirl of emotions and the realization of just how soft the younger's lips were on his own. It stayed like that as well, just slow and steady, Taehyung moving his hands to cup Namjoon's face as tilting his head to deepen the kiss.
He pulled back to smile and giggle a bit, "You taste like chocolate,"
Namjoon huffed in fake annoyance and slightly pushed the younger's shoulder playfully. Taehyung laughed lightly, leaning in to nip Namjoon's ear and pepper his face with small kisses.
When Namjoon thought he couldn't breathe anymore with how many kisses Taehyung was giving him he pulled back a bit, "T-Taehyung, stop."
The younger immediately backed off, his lips shining a bright, cherry red. He was panting just as hard as Namjoon but he wore the biggest grin Namjoon had ever seen.
"I hope this isn't a onetime thing," he whispered softly, moving his head closer to Namjoon's once more to press their foreheads together.
Namjoon leaned forward, connecting their mouths in a soft kiss nice more. It was barely longer than a peck and he was already moving back, enjoying the look of pleasure etched into Taehyung's face as the younger's eyes remained closed.
"Maybe it won't be," he whispered back, lips brushing Taehyung's as he spoke.
Taehyung's face cracked into that damned, cute box grin, "Can I get a good night kiss?" his voice was still low and deep but there was a childish sound of hope mixed in with it.
Namjoon laughed softly, "Don't you think you've had enough?"
Taehyung's face dropped, the grin disappearing and being replaced by a rather serious gaze. The younger ran the pad of his thumb gently over Namjoon's plump bottom lips, his eyes locking onto the dark pink of the skin, "I don't think I could ever get enough of you, Kim Namjoon."
