12. My hero

You were organizing a first aid kit when you felt eyes on you. You turned your head and were met with magenta orbs. It was Hidan. A smirk grew on his face as she lifted up his arms and flexed. You rolled your eyes and continued organizing, like you would ever go of someone like that. You can hear foot steps, he's coming over. He leans up against the tree you are under and smirks down at you. "Whatcha doing?", he asks. You don't even bother to look up at him. "Just organizing this". You finish and stand up but Hidan corners you, trapping you against the tree. "What do you want?", you ask calmly. "I was wondering if you would let me take you out sometime". Heat rises to your cheeks when you realize it, he's asking you out. "What? Why?". He smirks. "You're really pretty and I heard that you're single, don't worry, I'd treat you right".

With the others

"What's going on over there?", Ino asks. Everyone turns their attention to where (Y/n) and Hidan are. Hidan has (Y/n) trapped between him and tree. "Hidan said he likes her and is going to ask her out", Kakuzu says nonchalantly. This seemed to catch the attention of Kisame. "(Y/n)'s never gone out with anyone before so I wonder what she'll do", Itachi says, tapping his chin. "Its weird though because she could've gone out with anyone...", Ino trails off. White and Black Zetsu tilt their heads. "What do you mean by that?", they asks in sync. "Well (Y/n) was very quiet in high school but she had a lot of boys chasing after her, I used to hate her because of it, mainly because my boyfriend at the time was head over heels in love with her. But I got to know her and now she's one of my closest friends. She'll reject him, she's already in love", Ino says. "In love with who?", Tobi asks. Ino brings a finger to her lips. "I can't tell you that".

Back to you

Hidan was waiting for an answer and you were hesitating. "Well want do you say?", he asks. You bite your lips and look down at the ground. You wanted to get over your crush on Kisame but now you actually had a chance with him. But then Konan said that you should get over it. "Y-no". On second thought I can't do it, I'm sorry Konan. "What do you mean no?". You slip under his arm and begin walking away. "It means that I'm not interested". You begin walking towards Ino, her mouth is hanging open. "You trynna catch flies?", you ask. She closes her mouth and glares at you. "Why did you turn him down?!". "Don't act so clueless, you know why". Ino sighs. "Why do you even like him? He's not much to look at". It was your turn to glare now. "Hey, don't talk about him like that". "Ok then, tell me why you like him", she demands. You don't reply, your eyes drift down to the ground. You were happy no one else was around right now, they had all gone onto the pitch to practice. "(Y/n) please tell me". You let out a long sigh. "Fine, I'll tell you but you can't tell anyone, no one knows about this, not even Itachi or Konan". Ino nods and gives me her full attention. "Ok here I go".

Flashback

16 old (Y/n) finished practicing with her team and decided now was time to go home. "G-goodbye", Hinata calls out. (Y/n) sends her friend a smile and turns to walk home. Suddenly she is stopped. "Hey (Y/n)". She looks up and is met with the pale blue eyes of her friend Kimimaro. "Are you going home?", he asks. (Y/n) nods. "Do you want to get something to eat?", he asks. "Yeah, that would be great". A small smile makes its way onto Kimimaro's usually emotionless face. The two make their way towards town.

Twenty minutes or so later they arrive in town and find a place to eat. Once they were done the two started walking home. It was now dark and Kimimaro had offered to walk (Y/n) home. Half way home (Y/n) was suddenly pushed into an alleyway, her so called friend trapping her between himself and a wall. "What are you doing?", (Y/n) asks, worry evident in her voice. Kimimaro smirks, cups her cheek with one of his hands. "You have everyone chasing after you and I'll be the only one who gets to have you". Her eyes widen. "Kimimaro please don't do this". He smirks and lets his free hand trail her body.She struggles but can't get free. "Help me, someone hel-!". Kimimaro uses his other hand to cover her mouth. She struggled and tried to get free but he was a lot stronger. Hot tears began descending down her face. Even though she knew it was useless she fought her hardest to get free, screaming even though they were muffled by his hand. She closed her eyes and just wished for it all to be over. Then something happened, the hand moved away from her mouth and  she was no longer restrained. She opened her eyes to see that Kimimaro had been pulled off of you. There was someone else here also. They punched Kimimaro in the face, knocking him out. Now she had collapsed to her knees, tears kept running down her face. The other person came to her aid and lifted her up bridal style. "Are you Ok?", he asks. He was teenage boy, a few years older then her. He had strange blue skin and shark like features but she couldn't care about that. "Miss can you hear me?". Before she could answer everything went black.

Flashback

"So what happened after that?", Ino asks. "Well I woke up the next morning in the hospital". "Was he there?". You shook your head. "He wasn't but he did leave a note, I wished that I could thank him because I knew what Kimimaro would've done to me if he hadn't come". "Wow so he's like your hero". You blush slightly. "Yeah I guess so". "I'm sorry I was being a little over the top", she laughs rubbing the back of her neck. You roll your eyes. "Its fine, I'm used to you being over dramatic". Ino smiles and takes a seat next you.
