Have we met? (Kisame x reader: Modern)

20. Tobi and Rin's house

Where were you right now? Well... you were laying on the couch in your living room playing video games, something you typically did during the weekends. You worked full time during the week and never really had the time to enjoy yourself and just play so you used your free time to your advantage and played to your hearts content. But when you were only a couple hours in you were interrupted by the sound of a knock at the door. During the weekend the only who would knock would be the pizza delivery guy, who you hadn't called, or Konan if she forgot her key but she was out of town. You sigh and push yourself up off the couch, making your way towards the front door. You swing it open, your face turning bright red once you saw the person standing before you.

Kisame... and you're standing before him... in your pajamas. His face heats up too. "Oh h-hey (Y/n)", he greets. "K-Kisame I-uh didn't expect seeing you". Suddenly Itachi pushed past Kisame and gave you a playful smile. "What cute pajamas (Y/n), you don't plan going out looking like that, do you?", he chuckles. Your face turns even redder and you send the Uchiha a glare. "What do you mean? I'm not going anywhere today", you argue. Itachi just shakes his head and doesn't take his shit eating grin off his face. "We all promised to go to Tobi's house to celebrate our victory". I shrug my shoulders. "I'm not part of the team, I'm just a paramedic that stops you from dying on the field". "Well that's not the case anymore, you did play yesterday, did you not?". I sigh and send the annoying Uchiha a glare. "Fine, come in".

Kisame and Itachi followed me into my house, looking around once again. You stop and look at them, pointing to your bedroom door. "I'll be out in a minute". They both nod and take a seat in the living room while you speedily got ready.

Five minutes later you left your room looking nice in casual clothes. "Well that's better than pajamas, you look cute", Itachi compliments. You roll your eyes and grab you phone and a small bag. "Alright, I'm ready to go".

The three of us left my apartment and got into Itachi's car. Kisame let me sit in the front and I'm not sure whether that was a good or bad thing. The bastard Uchiha kept sending me smirks. I roll my eyes for what feels like the millionth time and relax in my seat, watching the houses go by as we drive towards Tobi's house.

Timeskip

Before I knew it we were there and I was surprised at the size of his house, it was huge. "Wow how does Tobi afford all of this?", you ask. "Tobi's adoptive father is quite wealthy and when he passed Tobi received a large inheritance", Itachi explains. The three of you approach the front door and knock. The door swings open seconds later and Tobi appears, smiling brightly behind his mask. "(Y/n)-chan!", he cheers, wrapping you in a tight embrace. You gently hugged back and looked over his shoulder to see Rin running over too. "(Y/n)!". She joins the hug and snuggles into the too of you. After a few minutes of this long hug you let go of the two and took a step back. "We're so happy you could make it (Y/n)!", Rin squeals with glee. You let out an amused chuckle smile at the two. They grabbed a hand each and pulled you inside, completely ignoring Itachi and Kisame who just watched. "I wanna show you our house (Y/n)-chan!", Tobi giggles. "Ok then".

You spent the next twenty minutes going from room to room in the house, looking over everything in it. "And finally this is the back yard!", Rin enthuses, showing you their large back yard. Your eyes widened due to the sight. There was a large deck, a lot of grass and a swimming pool. Most of the other players were already there. They all greeted you with smiles. Rin pulled you over to a swinging bench and sat down on one side, pulling you onto the other. "I'm so happy that you could come (Y/n), we barely have people over. Tobi is always practicing and I work full time". You noticed a hint of sadness in her voice. "Hey are you Ok?', you ask, genuinely concerned. She hesitantly nods. "I know you're lying, you don't have to tell me anything but I'm willing to listen". She bites her lip and looks between me and the ground a couple of times before speaking. "Well I don't have too many friends. During high school there was this one guy that I really liked and when I confessed to him he turned me down... he wasn't too nice about it either. I never even bothered making friends because I was so set on this guy but the entire time I had Tobi chasing after me and I didn't even realize it. I should've made friends in high school and I also should've given Tobi a chance earlier because I know I really hurt him back then...", she trails off. You sigh and place your hand on her shoulder. "You and Tobi are fine and I'd gladly be your friend". "Really?!". You chuckle and nod. "Of course". Rin suddenly hugs you and you can't help but hug back. After a few minutes and stands up. "Hey do you wanna help me prepare the food?", she asks. You happily nod and follow the purple marked girl into the spacious kitchen.

Can anyone guess who Tobi's adoptive father is? Well if you didn't know it was Madara cause why the hell not. Its been raining all day today and I had to walk to and from school in it... with a hole in my shoe. I need to buy new school shoes... I'll do it sometime. Hope you enjoyed the chapter.
