Katie's POV

I woke up the next morning and got all my stuff packed up. I changed into a pair of jeans and a sweat-resistant tank top with Toms. I put on a sweatshirt. Niall drove up and I threw my stuff in the trunk before getting in the passenger seat.

"Where to?" He asked. I handed him the directions I had written down.

"Go!" I said, after he stared at me for a moment. He smiled and drove.

We arrived at the venue for the feis. Niall parked and we both got out of the car. We went to the trunk, which he opened.

"What the hell did you bring Katie?" He exclaimed and stared at everything that was in the trunk. "How'd you get it all in there this morning?"

"I'm a pro at this stuff. Look like a pro, pack like a pro, travel like a pro. I've got everything we need."

"What could you possibly need?"

"Everything I brought." He sighed as I handed him my trunk full of necessities like my wig, makeup, tanner touch-up, bobby pins, extra socks, and other things. I gave him the two chairs for us. I carried my dress, bag of shoes and socks and a blanket. We headed inside to the big room. It was basically one of those rooms that you'd find at a fairgrounds, with lots of open space. I checked in and found that my competitions were at the far end, so we picked an empty spot.

I laid down the blanket and opened the foldout chairs. I opened my trunk of stuff and took my hair out of my ponytail. I slipped off my sweatshirt and began applying my makeup. I put on pink eye shadow with pink eyeliner on my top lid. I swiped on mascara. I put on a little blush and light pink lipstick. I turned to Niall.

"You've got a lot of makeup on." He said.

"I know. i don't love it either, but I've got to do it for competition.Does it look alright?"

"Yea. Of course." I tuned back to the mirror and put my hair into two half ponytails. One was on top of my head while the other was on the bottom. I flipped my head upside down and put my brown curly wig on. I pinned the living daylights out of it, and then stuck pins into my cloth tiara, that was pink and green.

"Is my wig crooked?" I asked.

"No." I took out my dress. It was pink and green. A Gavin. It was covered in Swarovski crystals. I slipped it over my jeans and thin tank top. I had Niall zip it up for me. I took off my jeans and put on my bloomers.

"Hey, Katie, I don't mean to be stupid, but your legs are different shades of skin than your arms."

"I know. I had to self-tan my legs last night."

"I don't want to know." I laughed. I put on my poodle socks and was beginning to put the sock glue on.

"What is that?"

"Sock glue, Niall."

"Oh. Okay. That totally makes sense." I put on my soft shoes and laced them up perfectly. I stood up and bounced on my toes to loosen up the shoes. I laced a white ribbon through the holes in my number card and then tied it around my waist.

"How do I look?" I asked Niall.

"Perfect." He smiled at me.

"Alright. My first set is on stage 12, right over here. And I need to line up now."

Niall's POV

I watched as Katie lined up on the stage with three other dancers. She came up center stage and I watched and knew she was mentally counting. I smiled at her, and her face immediately lit up. She began to dance, and she looked so graceful and beautiful.
