Niall's POV

We got into Brazil in the wee hours of the morning, and we were all quite tired, and basically hung around the hotel all day. I watched cartoons, while Aileen and Katie just talked. They went tanning down at the pool. Everyone else was doing something similar. We were all exhausted.

The next day, we all went down to the pool. The main pool was crowded, but Zayn found a hot tub that was way out of the way from the crowd. Terrible placement for something, you could barely see it tucked away behind a corner, surrounded by bushes. We all walked to the secluded area. We all put our feet in. Katie sat on her haunches and leaned her head back, catching the sun and making her glow.

"You going to introduce us to your friend, Katie?" Zayn asked. Katie sat up, and I could tell she was sarcastically rolling her eyes behind her dark sunglasses.

"Yes, this is Zayn, Harry, Liam, Louis, Eleanor, and Danielle, and you know Niall. Everyone this is Aileen McClanley. She's my best friend from mullinar. She plays football and runs like a cheetah. She's 18 and has a little sister and an older sister. Her middle name is Elizabeth. She's single."

"Thanks, Katie. I think I could've told them that myself."

"Just looking out for you, babe." Katie leaned back again, and I laughed under my breath, that is, until Aileen glared at me. She was a lot like Katie in the way that I knew when to shut up and listen. They were very close in personalities. Aileen was like her twin sister, she said.

We all ate lunch, and later in the evening, Katie and I decided to take a walk on the beach. She put her hand in mine, our fingers interlocking, we walked along the shore, with the tide washing up against our feet every few seconds.

"This is so beautiful. I still can't believe this." She said.

"That you're here?"

"Everything. The places we've gone, the things we've done, the tour, meeting the boys and El and Dani, and being your girlfriend. It's surreal, and I never want it to end. It's scary sometimes, because sometimes it doesn't seem real. This doesn't happen to girls like me."

"What do you mean?"

"It means that the sexy blonde celebrity doesn't notice the nerdy girl in the back of the room. The girl who's been too busy with school and football and dance to ever do anything else.  The girl who had her heart completely broken and turned to five boys thatn ever knew she existed until she got dealt a sweet card from fate. The fan who's been waiting on love. The perfectionist that never seems to be doing anything right. So where did I go right on this one? How did I get you?"

"How'd you get me? While, Katie, you smiled at me."

"Really?" I nodded. "But, really, why'd you pick me over every other girl in the world? You could've gotten anyone you wanted." I stopped and we turned towards eachother. I looked down at her.

"Alright. Do you really want this list?" She nodded. "Will you let me finish the whole list?" She nodded again. "Okay. Let's start from the toes. Your feet are really tiny, and I think it's cute. I love how your feet are always freezing cold no matter what. Your legs look amazing from dance and football. Your calves are hella strong, and I love the shape they make when you stand on your toes. I love when you stand your toes to kiss me. I like the scars covering your knees from football. I love how you could outrun any of the boys, including me, and whoop our asses at football. I love how your hips sway when you dance, and how you hold your arms above your head. I love watching you dance, because you look so free and full of passion. I love how your hands fit perfectly in mine, and your terrible circulation in your fingers. I love the earrings you wear. I love your hair. I love its natural curls and when you straighten it. I love it down and I love it piled on top of your head. I love the way you run your hands through your hair, and flick it off your shoulder. I love your smile, because it always brightens my day. Your laugh is absolutely beautiful, even if you thnk it's too loud, it lets me know where you are, and there hasn't been a time when I didn't want to hear it. I love your cute little nose and the way you stick your tongue out at me. Your eyes are stunning. They aren't quite green, and not quite blue, so they're unique, and I could stare into them for hours on end. They light up when you laugh and smile, and I can tell what you feel just by your eyes. I love how smart you are. I love that you're intelligent. Never change that, because it's sexy. You've got a wild side, and can be crazy and loud, but I've seen the quiet and deep side of you, and guess what? I love both sides. I love your dedication to your work and sports. I love that you're an amazing friend, sister, cousin, daughter and girlfriend. You're great for advice, and you're always there for me. You are a perfectionist, but it's okay, because it's you, and I love you. You've got a whole world of opportunities out there because of what you've done to get here. You are going to be successful, and you wouldn't need me to accomplish those things. You're a special person, because Cathleen Elizabeth O'Neill was, is, and always will be the girl of my dreams. My princess. That's what you are, and I'll never understand how I got with you, because you are clearly the most amazing girl in the world." She just stared at me wide eyed. "Oh, yea, and I love you." I added. She kept staring. "Katie? Say something please?"
