A/N: Bad chapter! Sorry!

Katie's POV

Niall and I have officially been together for two weeks. An amazing two weeks. I was in love with this boy. I slipped on my shoes, which were a pair of silver sparkly Toms. It was prom night.

My hair was pulled back into an elegant bun with a braid running on the side of my head. The hairdresser had stuck in elegant silver diamond pins. I had on eye shadow that was a shade darker than my skin tone, and some mascara and eyeliner on my top lid. I put on a muted red lipstick.

My dress was a brilliant shade of red. It was a halter with a sweetheart neckline. It was cinched at the waist with a red sash, and had a less full skirt of a ballgown skirt. The skirt had layered pieces of red tulle, that looked distressed and shaggy, but positively elegant at the same time.

"KATIE! Niall's here!" My mom called up the steps. I let out a deep breath through my pursed lips. I stoo up and straightened out my dress.  I picked up my sequined black clutch.I walked out of the room and I paused at the top of the steps. My mom was waiting at the bottom of the staircase.

I loved our staircase. It was one of those big ones, like a half spiral that followed the curve of the wall, with a litte balcony at the top Okay, I'm sorry, I'm like in love with those staircases. Back to the story.

"Oh, Katie, you just look beautiful. Niall! Danny! She's ready." Danny, my dad, and Niall appeared at the bottom of the staircase.

"Oh, swetheart, aren't you a sight." My dad said. I looked to Niall, in a shrunken black tuxedo. He had a box in his hand.

"Oh, Katie. You look amazing, love." Niall said. I blushed and looked to the ground. I picked up my dress as not to step on it and began walking down the steps. I saw the flash of the cameras, and finally, I reached the bottom. "A corsage for you, madam." Niall took out a corsage of white flowers on a white wristband, and he fastened it on my wrist.

"Okay picture time." My mom said. Niall and I put our arms around each other as my parents snapped photo after photo. Niall and I handed over our iPhones for pictures as well.

"Mom, we should get going!" I said.

"Oh, all right. My baby's going to prom!" She began to tear up, and I went to go give her a hug.

"Mom, don't cry!" I pleaded.

"I'm not!" I hugged my dad.

"Bye daddy."

"Goodbye, sweetheart. Niall, take care of her." He shook Niall's hand. Niall and I got into his car that we were taking, and he was driving. I checked my Instagram, which I had not been on in the last few days.

All the pictures from the last few days had surfaced. There were pictures from my birthday, at the pub. Niall and I were kissing with the beers in our hands, and we were jumping all around and having fun with friends. There were shots from my football game, of me on Niall's shoulders. Finally, Niall had recently posted two pictures. One was of me walking down the steps, the other was of him and I. I posted the same picture. Prom was going to be great.

We rolled up to the hotel, where the prom was held, and went inside. We took our picture together, and then Niamh, Aileen and I all spotted each other. Niamh ran towards me with her date in tow, and Aileen and her boyfriend, Mark, followed suit.

"Kate, you look amazing!" Niamh hugged me.

"So do you. Leena, that color is stunning on you!" I said, hugging Leena.

"Thanks. Hi Niall." Niall nodded to her.

It was a great night. We danced and laughed and Niall seemed to be having a great time. We jumped and sang at the top of our lungs. "Time for the final slow dance of the night." The DJ said, and Niall and I took our positions, begining to dance.

"It's been an amazing night, Katie. I've really enjoyed it." Niall said.

"Really? I was afraid you'd be bored."

"No, of course not! I never got to my prom, and I never thought I'd have the chance to go again. Especially with the most amazing girl in the world, who looks absolutely gorgeous. I never though that in such a short time, I would fall for someone so hard. I never thought I'd get the chance to be the luckiest man in the world, and now, I know that I've never been luckier."

"Niall, I'm going to miss you. What're we going to do when you leave?"

"Come with me."

"What?"

"Come on tour. We'll be back in time for you to go to school. It'll be perfect."

"Alright, just gotta ask the parents."

"We can do that." He smiled with assurance.

"Alright, it's the last song of the night, and probably the most requested." The DJ said, before turning on What Makes You Beautiful. The whole room looked to Niall, and I laughed.

"You've got to be kidding me." He laughed, and so did I. We sang too loud and jumped extra high, because it was the best prom ever. We were living out the last moments of high school, and right now, they were the most amazing moments. I smiled and took a mental picture.

Niall drove me home and kissed me before I went inside and completely collapsed into a deep sleep.
