A/N: Some of this chapter would never happen...oh well.

Katie's POV

The next morning, we set out for Cleveland, Ohio. It was a long drive, but we arrived at the hotel around five p.m. Niall and I changed, and the boys and I all decided to go out to a baseball game. I, ironically, had brought my Shin-Shoo Choo jersey that my cousin had sent me. I threw it on with jean shorts and converse, and I straightened my hair.

We went through the garage of the hotel and got into a waiting taxi van, and we were unnoticed by fans as the taxi took a long and swerving route to the stadium. We finally got there, and the boys slipped on their hats and sunglasses. I was not enough of a celebrity to be noticed, thank God.

We got to our seats that were right behind homeplate---at the very top of the stadium. We could not get better seats on such short notice, but none of us mind, because we were alone in the area.

Niall and I both bought our own Indians snapbacks and immeditely put them on. He laughed at me. "You look cute with your hat." I kissed him, and he took my hand and took me to a food stand. He got a hot dog, nachos, french fries, and peanuts for me to go along with my grilled chicken sandwich.

"I want a beer." I said.

"Can't do that here, sweetheart. Plus, the beer over here is crap. Or so I've heard." He got a little bit of a nervous look on his face. I giggled. "Alright, Nialler, I'll take your word for it."

I honestly could not wait to get out of the states at this point. I needed a good Irish pint. I was happy we only had four more shows over here. I wanted to go somewhere new, and we were headed to Europe next, and I had really never been many places beside London and a vacation in Italy. Otherwise, we had always traveled to a resort in Australia when I was with my family.

We sat down at our seats with the rest of the boys and Paul. The game soon started, and Niall was shoving food in his face.

In the ninth inning, the game was tied, and it was really coming down. The Indians were up to bat, and we watched as Choo hit the ball, and he rounded first, then second, and third an made a brilliant slide into home. We all exploded in the stands and we were jumping up and down in the rain, cheering for a team we would maybe never see play again.

Niall leaned down and kissed me. I leaned back and took off my hat, catching raindrops in it. I pulled away and bit my lip, smiling up at him. It was a great first night in Cleveland.

-------------

The next two weeks were honestly uneventful. Niall met my cousin, Charlotte, and she took us around Cleveland. We went to a fruit market in Peninsula, and the West Side Market downtown. We spent a day going on rollercoasters with the boys at Cedar Point.

We down to South Carolina and had a show, and then spent two days at Hilton Head. The boys loved playing around in the ocean, and watching the sun set on the beach was beautiful.

Now, it was our last day in the United States, and we were taping an interview on Conan tonight. We had our last show in Los Angeles last night, and we were setting out from the airport late tonight.

I had on my nude heels from Niall. I had put on a purple dress with a scoop neck. It had a silver skinny belt around the middle, and the knee-length skirt of the dress was pleated. My hair was curled to perfection, and I had put on a smokey eye with nude lipstick. We were supposed to go out for dinner afterwards.

I sat in the front row and clapped as the boys walked over to the couches after performing WMYB. Niall sat closest to Conan, in his own chair, while the rest of the boys sat on a couch next to him, and Andy Richter on the far end in his own chair.
