Sunday

Katie's POV

I woke up on Sunday morning, well, really, I woke up on Sunday afternoon. We went out on Saturday night. So, anyway, I woke up Sunday afternoon and showered. I changed into a sleeveless navy blue dress. It had buttons going down the middle and a belt. There was a Peter Pan collar and it hit just above my knees. I blow dryed my hair, and it fell perfectly in its slight curls. I put on subtle makeup, only swiping on some mascara and neutral eyeshadow along with concealer. I put on the pair of nude Louboutins Niall had bought me. I picked up a tan purse and walked out the door, and got in my car to drive down the street to Niall's house.

I knocked on the door and Bobby answered. "Katie, how good to see you!" He hugged me.

"Good to see you too, Bobby." I smiled. "Is Niall around?"

"The lad's still sleeping. As is Zayn." Bobby shook his head, as did I.

"Of course they are. Crazy lads." He laughed. "Well, you mind if  wake Niall up? Take him out?"

"Sure, go right ahead, Katie."

"Thank you." I said, walking past him and upstairs. I turned the corner into Niall's room, and sure enough, Niall was laying across his bed. I smiled at him for a second, then began to shake him awake.

"Niall! Niall! Get up!" I shouted.

"Er....noooo........what?........Katie! What're you doing here?" He said groggily.

"Come on, we're leaving."

"Where?"

"Just get a move on, will you? It's a surprise!" I went to his closet and got a light blue button-up dress shirt, khakis, and a pair of brown Sperry Top Siders. "Put these on. We're going somewhere fancy." I threw the clothes at him.

"Ow!" He yelped.

"You're fine."

"I hate you." He said, and I walked straight up to him, as he was sitting up on his bed. I leaned down to him.

"No you don't." I kissed him. "Now get dressed. I'll be in the car." I walked out of his room and downstairs. I looked to Bobby.

"Niall said he'd be down soon-"

"He said, or you said?" Bobby said. He knew me well, and he knew his son well, of course.

"Alright, I might have said he'd be down soon, but either way, he'll be meeting me in the car. Good to see you, and I won't drop him off too late." I hugged Bobby before going to wait in my car.

Fifteen minutes later, I was still waiting. I beeped the horn. "Come On Niall! This is ridiculous!" I yelled as he came out the door and got in the car. "What took so long?"

"I don't know." I rolled my eyed at him and rolled out the driveway. "So, Katie, where are we going, anyway?" I just smiled with no response, as I knew he would start protesting the second I told him. I drove on, and five minutes later, I pulled into the parking lot. I looked to Niall, whose mouth had dropped open.

"No. No. No. No. Just No. No way."

"Oh come on, Niall, it's important to me. You're Catholic, it's fine."

"Katie,I don't do church. I don't believe in God."

"I didn't much either, but this church has a great program for teens, and it's fun. Come on, this is the teen mass."

"So it's different?"

"Yes!The music is more exciting! Please!" He sighed and got out.
