Dan pulled me back behind the bus shelter and held me close to him. I could feel his warm breathe tickling my neck as he tried to think of what to do now. We both watched as Sophie

and Jason crossed the road and waiting at the bus shelter. As long as we stayed her until they were on the bus we would be fine.

A few minutes later, a double decker pulled up and they got on it. Dan still was holding Sarah who breathed a sigh of relief as the bus drove off, that was close. They got on the next bus that arrived at the stop and say down, both relieved that they hadn't been seen.

"What were you going to tell me?" Sarah asked, looking around seeing an almost deserted bus, "It's pretty empty, no one will listen in." She suggested.

"Okay.." Dan said, giving in to Sarah. "Well, after realising I was to early for the shops, I decided to take a walk along the river. I walked a few miles, completely loosing track of time when I saw Sophie again, she didn't see me so I quickly his behind a bush. I couldn't leave without her seeing me so I had to wait until she had finished talking to Jason." Dan whispered. "But Sarah, they know where we live and they sabotaged our car." He said, a worried look swept across his face.

"Oh god.." Sarah said, not expecting that to have happened. "I thought we were free from them for now." She sighed again, preparing herself to stand up as they were nearing their stop.

They got off the bus safely and walked back towards the house. Dan put his arm around Sarah pulling her closer and kissed her cold cheek. As they walked up the drive, something didn't seem right. A sudden cold breeze sent shivers down both their spines, so Dan pulled Sarah even closer.

They approached the house, realising that the front door was slightly ajar. Sarah thought she may have forgotten to lock it properly this morning due to the fact she was rushing and worrying about Dan, but when they got closer they realised it had been forced open. Dan realised Sarah from under his arm and slowly began to open the front door, everything looked normal and nothing was out of place. What was going on?

Sarah slowly followed Dan through the door, trying not to make a sound as her shoes touched the wooden flooring.

"Hello?" Dan called, wary of anyone who may be in the house. No reply.

"Hello?" He repeated, louder this time, as he stepped fully into the hallway, Sarah close behind him. She held tightly onto the back of his T-shirt, making her feel safer.

"Ah, you've arrived," A voice said from above. Dan gazed up the stairs to see Sophie standing there, hands on her hips. Sarah felt a surge of panic drown her body, they must have got the bus to their house, but how did they know where she lived?

"Get out now!" Dan said, trying to stand up to Sophie, but he was obviously still scared of her.

"It's not that simple..." Sophie laughed, remembering how they had run away last time. She began to slowly walk down the stairs, her heeled boots on the wood echoing around the vast hallway. "Did you really think you would get away that easily." She smirked, her hands still firmly on her hips.

Sophie made everything seem threatening, her eyes remained transfixed on Dan and Sarah. They looked so powerless standing there, Dan trying not to look Sophie in the eye and Sarah still clung on to the back of his T-shirt.

Sophie began to take a few more steps towards them. What should they do? Dan quickly made the decision to make a run for the door. Sarah followed him as there was no other option. They ran down the driveway as fast as they could, turning around every so often to check Sophie wasn't running after them. She remained stood in the front door way, shouting at them something that they couldn't quite make out.

As they approached the end of the driveway, Dan came to an abrupt stop, Sarah bumping into the back of him.

"Where do we go from here?" Dan asked Sarah, a worried look pained his face.

"The woods, come on we can't stop now." She replied, she carried on running when Dan grabbed her hand, pulling her behind him.

They ventured deep into the woods, Dan ran as fast as he could until he knew no longer where to go.

"What about now, where should we g-" Dan stopped as her turned around. Sarah was no longer behind him. He heard a quiet moan coming from around the corner. He retraced his steps back to the clearing to find Sarah perched on a rock, holding her stomach.

"Sarah? Are you alright?" Dan asked, worried about what was the matter. He quickly ran over and sat down beside her putting his hand around her.

"Ugh, I have a really bad pain-" She said, before letting out another moan. She clenched her bump again as Dan hugged her.

"Don't worry, it's okay." Dan said reassuring her. "Take some deep breaths." Said Dan trying to give some advice, even though he had no idea what to do.

"We must go. They might be following us." Sarah said, beginning to stand up. Dan pulled her back down.

"No, it's fine. I need to make sure you're safe first." He said resting his hand on her lap.

"I'll be fine, come on." She said, standing up again. She began to walk slowly again meaning Dan had no option but to follow her.

They approached the end of the woodland bringing them out at the river.

"I'm taking you to the doctors now-" Dan said to Sarah, but before he had the chance to say anymore, they felt a foot stamp on theirs. A cloth was forcefully wrapped around their nose and mouth, extremely tightly and the strong chemical taste seeped down their throats...
