Clarke's point of view

I wore a small blush on my cheeks as I exchanged hugs with the rest of my friends, what Bellamy had been about to do lingering in my mind.
Suddenly, I remembered Madi.
I looked back at the rover to see her still shyly standing in front of it, waiting for me to introduce her.
I smiled at her sympathetically. Of course she was nervous. I figured she would take a little while to warm up to them.
"Everyone, this is Madi, the nightblood who I was telling you about." I began to introduce everyone to Madi as she scooted over to my side.
"Madi, this is Raven, that's Monty, there's Echo, and of course Bellamy, and Emori."
"Hi. It's nice to finally meet you all," Madi greeted in a small voice, smiling shyly. I squeezed her shoulder reassuringly.
Looking at the group in front of me, I realized someone was missing.
"Wait, where's Murphy?"

Emori looked down at the dirt beneath her, "He chose to stay."
Clarke looks up at me in confusion. I sighed and put a hard on Emori's shoulder, looking toward clarke.
"One of the suits ripped. It was unfixable. So someone had to stay at the ring... which, only me and raven know, is dying slowly. So echo," I smiled looking toward her, "said she would stay. Because we have kept her alive for so long, she felt she had to return the favour. But soon as we were about to leave Murphy took off his suit and gave it to echo telling her to go."
Emori let out a small cry, turning toward raven grabbing her in a hug.
"So Murphy is still on the ring."

Clarke's point of view

I felt my heart twist for Murphy. As much we had both pissed each other off, we never hated each other. We were allies - most of the time, anyways - and I had always held a respect for him.
Murphy and Emori were practically inseparable. I felt a deep sadness for Emori. I had a good idea of what she was feeling right now.
"God, Emori, I'm sorry. John was a good man. It sucks that his final moments have to be in space."
I looked up at the sky, suddenly noticing how dark it was getting.
"We should get back to our campsite. You guys are probably freezing," I observed their wet clothing. I nodded to the rover, "Hop in, and excuse the clutter in the back. The rover has kind of been our portable home."
I looked at Madi as everyone made for the rover. I knew she wouldn't be comfortable wedged in the back with strangers.
"You can ride up front with me, okay?"
Madi nodded in response, giving me a thankful smile before turning towards the rover to climb in the passenger seat.

Bellamy's point of view

I follow clarke to the rover and hop into the back with the others. As Clarke closed the back door, memories came flooding in of when I last sat in this rover. Of all of the awful things I've done. But that's in the past. I look over to Harper and Monty snuggled up close to each other for warmth. Beside them sat raven who is fiddling with a small bolt. I looked beside me at echo who is shivering like crazy. I see a small blanket beside me and pick it up, placing it around echo. She looks up with a small smile.
"You just looked cold," I smile slightly.
"Thanks," she nodded.
She draws her knees up to her chest, holding the end of the blanket wrapped around her in her hands.
I place a hand on her shoulder giving it a small reassuring squeeze, then lean back against the rover side. A few shivers made their way through my body as I get colder and colder. Echo must have seamed to notice when she pulled half of the blanket open, gesturing or me to sit beside her, to use the blanket too. I smiled slightly and scooted close to echo. She wrapped the open half around my shoulders smiled. "You just looked cold that's all," she said said mocking me. I shook my head and looked back at her with a small smile back. "Thanks."
