Bellamy's point of view
"So like I was going to say.. I'm sorry if I upset you this morning."
Clarke looks up letting out a tired sigh. "It wasn't me. It was echo, when I went to find her she just... came at me. I told her no though," I say quietly looking down at the ground, watching my step.

"Look, I told you it's okay, Bellamy. Let's just drop it, alright?" I gave him a small smile, hoping that would satisfy him.
We soon reached the end of the patch of trees. I groaned in frustration, seeing no sign of any other living creature in the darkness that had fallen over the barrens.
"There's nothing else around here. This hare will have to do."
Bellamy shrugged, "At least it's something."
I nodded my agreement, reluctantly beginning to retrace my steps back into the trees.
Bellamy suddenly caught my arm, halting me. "Wait, look over there."
I looked back at him to see him aiming down his sights toward a neighbouring patch of a few young trees.
Aiming as well, I spotted movement in the shadows. A large, bulking mass of fur lumbered through the trees, snuffing at the ground.
"Dammit," I hissed through clenched teeth. "That's a bear."
"Are they supposed to be that big?"
Observing the bear further, I realized that he was right. Everything about this bear was massive, from it's head to its giant claws.
"No. It must be mutated," I answered, chewing on my lip.
Thinking for a moment, Bellamy asked, "Would it still be safe to eat?"
I lowered my rifle to look at him. "Yes, but you don't actually think we could take it down, do you?"
"With a few well-placed shots, yeah," he met my gaze. "That bear is a threat to us. And you said it yourself: that hare isn't much. Imagine how much meat we could get off of a bear that size."
"If we start shooting but we don't take it down? Then what?" I challenged. "We would piss it off and alert it to our location, not to mention we would waste ammo and risk our lives if it attacks."
Bellamy let out an irritated huff, folding his arms, "What do we do then? Leave it alone and hope it doesn't find us while we're sleeping?"
"Exactly." At the look on his face, I continued. "Listen, we'll have a few of us guard the camp while we're sleeping."
He rolled his eyes but didn't object, stalking off into the trees again.
Letting out a breath, I followed him.

"Hey Bellamy!"
I though the trees to see Madi with a huge smile on her face.
"Hi Madi," I smile slightly, ruffling her hair.
Clarke walks out behind me, the hare slung over her shoulder.
"Hey clarke," Madi smirks.
Clarke rolls her eyes giving her a playful push. Madi looks over to me smirking, and winks. I look at her confused and then back at clarke who is wearing a blush.
