Clarke's point of view

I woke up from my sleep to the feeling of something prodding my shoulder.
"Come on, Clarke, wake up," Madi's voice sounded above me.
Reluctantly, I opened my eyes, groaning. From the pale light that filled the rover and the feeling of cool air hitting my face, it was early morning.
Madi let out a small laugh at my groan, "I know, I know. We have to move you again. The others are ready to continue digging."
I let out another groan, closing my eyes.
I heard Madi stepping out of the rover, speaking to someone. The person stepped into the rover, and I felt strong arms wrap around me, a firm yet gentle hand securing my right leg. I was lifted up from my sleeping bag, the cool air hitting the exposed skin of my legs due to my shorts.
I huffed, trying to get closer to the warmth of whoever was carrying me.
"We're almost done, princess. Then you'll be able to get your beauty sleep," a familiar deep voice rumbled humorously.
I felt his thumb on my back absently begin to rub back and forth.
Still not fully awake, I let out a hum of content.

I hold clarke close as Madi brings the sleeping bag out from the rover.
"Here," Madi smiles.
I set clarke down on the sleeping bag, a smile spreading on her lips.
"No... you're warm," clarke whispers.
Thankfully echo didn't hear.
I let out a small chuckle, bending down toward her.
"Look. We need the rover to dig more. I'll stay with you so you can sleep for a little longer, Okay?"
Clarke nods and I turn toward the others, making sure they can handle the process themselves for a while. After everyone left, I pick clarke up once again, grabbing the sleeping bag with my left hand, using my arm to support her head, and walk towards the fire. I set the sleeping bag down and put clarke down on it.
"Here, get warmed up."
She opens her eyes and smiles. "Thanks."
I nod and sit down on one of the logs. "No problem."

Clarke's point of view

I stopped myself from falling back to sleep, our argument last night nagging at my mind.
He was still my best friend, for God's sake, Echo or no Echo. I had to fix this.
I open my eyes back up to look at him, "Bellamy, about last night-"
He cut me off, looking stressed, "No, Clarke, you don't have to say anything." A moment passed before he sighed and continued, "I was the one who overreacted. I had no right to tell you to act your age." He offered me an apologetic smile.
I slowly nodded. I wasn't about to push the fact that I had been telling the truth about Echo, since it would probably start up the whole argument again and I was honestly too tired for that right now.
Bellamy's gaze grew concerned. "How are you doing? Your leg, I mean. The wound didn't open up last night, did it?"
I shook my head. "Thankfully, no. I didn't put that much weight on it."
"Good."
We absently held each other's gaze for a few moments.

Bellamy's point of view

Finally I speak, breaking the silence.
"Are you hungry?"
Clarke pauses before nodding her head, "yeah, kind of."
"Alright," I nod, standing up and walking over to a small bush of berries that sat a few yards away. After collecting two handfuls of the reddish berries, I walk back over, sitting down and holding my hands out to Clarke. She smiles and picks one out of my hand, popping it into her mouth.
"Mmmmmm, yummy," Clarke smiles, closing her eyes and stretching.
I nudge her shoulder with my fingers, still trying to steadily hold all the berries with them, and open my mouth. Clarke laughs with a sigh and picks up a few berries, dropping them into my mouth. One of them rolls to the back of my mouth and my gag reflex goes off, but luckily I close my mouth fast enough to stop the berries from being launched out of my mouth all over Clarke.
"You alright there?" she laughs.
"Mmmm... yummy," I choke.
Clarke lets out a loud snort, trying to stop herself from laughing, but it doesn't work. She rolls onto her back, hands on her mouth, having a laughing fit.
"Hey!" I yell. Before even thinking I playfully throw all the berries all over Clarke, a few staining her shirt.
"hey!"
This time, I let out a huge laugh, leaning back on the log. Before I know it, I fall off the back of the log, my legs over the log and my back on the ground.
Clarke lets out a bigger snort and laughs even harder. I put my hand up and stretch my finger for a dramatic scene.
"Help," I say in a rough and cracky voice, sounding as if I were hurt.
Clarke drags her body closer to the log, grabbing my hand and pulling me up.
"You okay?" She laughs.
"Grama? Is that you?"
Clarke slaps my knee and looks up at me with a playful look on her face. "Do I look like a your grandmother?!"
I lean closer and look her in the eyes. "Yes."
"You jerk!"
I lean back, my hand on my knees, balancing me, and let out a small laugh.
"Alright then you're a grandpa," Clarke grins.
I laugh, raising my hands in the air almost like I was surrendering and shrug my shoulders.
"Alright grandma, we better go help. They are probably thinking we got lost."
"At camp?"
"Well with your injury you can be delusional," I smile.
"You're delusional," she laughs.
"Maybe," I sigh, standing up. "Come on."
"What do you mean?"
"You don't think I'm leaving my grandma here all alone and delusional, do you?" I smile, raising an eye brow.
Clarke shakes her head and puts her arms up, signalling I can pick her up. I bend down and wrap my arms around her waist bringing her to her feet. As she stands, she quickly brings the right leg up, remembering her injury which makes her trip. I grab her before she hits the ground and hold her close.
"You okay?"
"Yeah mom I'm okay," she laughs.
I then slide my arm under her legs and one on her back, lifting her up.
"You ready princess?"
"You're not carrying me all the way there Bellamy."
"How are you going to stop me?"
"I'm going to annoy the crap out of you," she smiles.
"You do that enough, so it won't be anything different," I smirk.
"Excuse me!?" She laughs.
"Alright princess hang on," I grin, and begin walking over to polis.
