Preparation

Toby pondered more about it. It seemed that he couldn't get over it.

'It seems that all of them favor Jessica's group huh? I think I have no choice.'

'So how am I gonna make peace to the whole class? Is it really that Mandy needs to change? Or I will just support Jessica at all?'

'No, I need to stay at the middle!'

'But there really must be someone who needs to change.'

'If I stay in the middle, I'll get squashed by both groups.'

'But the thing is, they might mistakenly see me as supporter of one side.'

'Damn, why is everything difficult to process?!'

'Perhaps I may have grasped a little bit of what life is...'

Toby was confused. He tried to calm himself down. Minutes passed and he finally calmed himself down. He texted Mandy.

"Hello." Toby texted.

It took 5 minutes before she replied back.

"Hello Toby. Sorry I'm a little bit busy because my mom have many visitors."

"Can I talk to you for a second?"

"Sorry, can't..."

"Okay."

Toby waited for the opportunity to tell her what he wanted to say. He kept himself busy by texting others. Dave himself was his textmate. He also texted with Jules(Juliet), Alessa, Molly, and Chloe.

"Hey there guys." Toby group messaged. Sadly, only Dave and Jules replied.

"Hello Toby. Why bother?" David asked.

"Hi there Toby." Jules said.

"Just spending my time texting." Toby replied to Dave's message.

"Whatcha doing?" Toby asked Jules.

"Oohh did you answer your homeworks?" David asked.

"Here. Doing my assignment." Jules replied.

"Yes. How 'bout you?" Toby asked David.

"Oohhh okay." Toby said as the comversation ended.

"I did it already." David replied.

"So have you thought of something that will make peace to both groups?" Toby asked.

"The open forum was really the only choice." David answered.

"No other than that?"

"None."

"There must be..."

"It's up to you if you still believe that there are still other plans."

"Well... Maybe enough for today."

They had long conversation. Their conversation was about an hour. Toby grabbed the opportunity that he waited.

"What will you do if many tend to favor your enemies' explanation as they defend themselves? Will you accept that? Or still fight?" Toby texted Mandy once more.

"What's this all about Toby?" Mandy asked.

"I want you to be prepared. It will be tough for you to handle everything on monday. "

"For what? Toby I don't understand what you're talking about."

"Answer my question first."

"Ofcourse I will understand them for you... If you wanted to."

"Don't do this for me. If you still love me, then do it for the whole class."

"Okay... I gotta sleep. Night."

"Goodnight... I love you..."

Toby asked the same question to others except those involved in the conference so that it would be fair.

'I hope they're prepared.' Toby thought to himself.
