Chapter XXXIV
Unfounded Peace
Their teacher charged inside the classroom wondering about the noise. She saw her students fighting.
"Hey hey! What's going on around here?! I thought you were settled in the open forum?!" Their teacher shouted.
They stopped fighting due to the terror that their teacher might scold them a lot. The noise turned into silence. Wyonne wasn't able to report what happened to the whole class. She was still panicking.
Their teacher blamed the open forum. She asked the leader of the open forum to hold the responsibilities. Toby admitted himself without any doubts. He didn't listen to his teacher as she scolds him.
There was no hope for the two opposing groups as what Flora and Madeline thought. Toby never feels failure though. He didn't mind it. His goal in obtaining peace was not his goal anymore. He had a new one, and he wished to follow it.
The open forum failed. The members who operated the forum failed too. Wyonne was greatly affected by the fight. She couldn't handle such trauma making her very aware on doing anything. She always seek of the consequences on every action she makes.
Their dream on unifying the whole class failed. Their goal failed too. Toby didn't consider himself a failure since he had his new goal already.
They had grudge to each other. Unfortunately, the dream of the members that the class be reunited didn't push through, instead their class shattered like a broken mirror that can't be brought back to normal.
They had goal, to obtain peace, but they didn't find their goal. The peace they desperately want... is unfounded.
