Chapter XXII

Ambition

Toby saw his classmates fighting each other with grief. He didn't have the power to settle them down. His teacher came along to see what's going on.

'At last she came. Less fighting...' Toby said in his mind.

He listened to his teacher as she spoke her words of peace which reminds him of something. It lead to the conversation between Toby and Mandy a few not so long ago. He was playing monster hunter when Mandy started the conversation with a hello.

He paused the game and replied back at her. They had few moments of sweetness. Saying those three love words at each other. They continued chatting and chatting until Toby opened the topic about peace.

"So what is your idea about peace?" Toby asked Mandy.

"Well, it is something that all of us wanted for it's just that some people tends to hurt others with or without purpose." Mandy replied.

"Well for me, peace is something that should to be seized by everyone, desperately if needed. Temptations to hurt others are the things that cause instability of peace. We only tend not to control those temptations that's why we hurt others."

"Definitely right."

"One day I'll find peace. Chaos are everywhere. Most of us think there is no hope in having peace."

"What a nice idea. I'll support you with that."

"I'll take that as an ambition. I'll die if I need to as long as I did my job here on Earth."

"Don't worry I'm always here to support you."

"Thank you Mandy. But I cannot achieve that if even in my own class I can't find peace."

"Yes. I'll support you."

"Mandy."

"Yes?"

"What if I will be your greatest enemy, what will you do?"

"Why did you think of that? Ofcourse that won't happen."

"Well, only God knows the future. He can twist everything you know."

"Hmmm. Ofcourse I will try to understand your reason of turning against me but ofcourse that won't happen and I won't let that happen."

"Why?"

"Because I love you that's why."

"Really? Hahaha then that will not happen! I love you too."

The fact that they can have a lot of I love you words in a day while they're not yet officially lovers means that they have a great trust to each other, or maybe of another reason.

Going back to the dispute, Toby realized that he was a jerk that didn't even make a move about his ambition. He was so guilty of himself that he was tempted not to do anything or he didn't have the courage to speak.

Eventually, something popped out of his mind, to arrange a meeting for the sake of the class.
