Brantley's POV

I stretched then stood up off my bed on the bus feeling it stop. I'd crawled back in bed when we had rolled out this morning. I tugged a t-shirt over my head before padding up front. Kolby was leaned against the counter texting on his phone. I'd spent the little bit of time we'd had off either hunting, scouting, or doing any kind of work at the farm to keep my mind busy. Mama had told me no sooner than I had gotten home that if she found out I called Allie and upset her she would find a switch and use it on me.

I didn't argue with her because what I needed to say was better done face to face. I'd try to find a way to get her to talk to me. My little brother looked up from his phone at me narrowing his eyes. He'd decided to tag along for a few shows to hang out. I knew without even asking he was aware of what had happened between Allie and I. Kolby slipped his boots on as I pulled out a bottle of water then he looked at me.

"Where are you headed?" I asked puzzled.

"The airport," Kolby said crossing his arms looking at me. "Told Allie I would pick her up."

"Let me go get my shoes bro," I said my heart pounding at the thought of getting to see her. "I'll go with you."

"Yea....no," Kolby scoffed putting his hat on backwards looking around for his shades. "Not happening B."

"I'm going Kolby," I growled glaring at him. "You're not going to stop me from talking to her."

"Brantley," Kolby said as he started laughing making me glare. "You have a show to play tonight. I don't think BGNation wants you to play it from a hospital bed. That's where you will be if you show up with me to get Allie Cat. I'd leave her alone man."

"Fucking hell Kolby!" I yelled. "I need to ap...."

"Stop right there man," he said holding a hand up cutting me off. "Give her some time okay. Look B, go for a bike ride or something okay. Because if and when you get the chance to talk to her, you need to make it count man."

"You sure?" I asked feeling very unsure of myself. I rubbed a hand on my chin looking over at my little brother. But if anyone knew what Allie was thinking it would be him. Kolby reached over to push my shoulder with a smirk.

"Man," he said with a laugh before heading to the door. "Can you really do much worse right now?"

I flipped him off as he walked out the door before I sat down holding my head in my hands. I just needed five minutes with her. Hell, I would take two if she would listen to me. I heard my phone chime pulling me out of my thoughts. I got up heading to the back to see who it was knowing it was time for me to get to work.

Allie's POV

Today had been hell. I had landed late because my flight had been delayed leaving Nashville. I'd hardly slept last night. Kolby asked me a million times earlier if I was okay on the way to the venue. My reply to him before I went to change clothes for tonight was that if he asked one more time I would cut his balls off and ram them down his throat. While I loved each and every one of them for it, he and the guys were treating me like glass.

PJ had assigned someone else to Brantley tonight to follow my every step. I glanced down at my favorite ripped jeans that fit just right and black Mama Tried t-shirt and called it good as I walked off the band bus. PJ was sitting in the golf cart waiting on me. I saw my camera bags in the back seat. I pasted a smile on my face as I walked closer glancing at my watch as I got closer. It was almost show time.

"You doing okay Allie?" PJ asked giving me a quick smile before driving us to the venue. I noticed he didn't attempt to call me Allie Cat.

"Yea I am fine," I grumbled. "Tripped over a guy earlier walking because I had stopped. He spilt beer all over me."
