Considering he kept begging for the opportunity nonstop, I finally gave Miles the chance to drive; he actually wasn't bad. He was better than me, due to the fact that he was older. We made our way back to the same view of the corn stalks and stretched out highway.

Luckily, Izzy was smart enough to pack her Ipad and was able to play her games to keep her distracted for a couple of hours until it died. Then Izzy would soon question me. I was grateful for the few hours.

"Tell me about your life before." Miles said, startling me with his surprising question.

"W-what do you mean?" I asked, curious.

"You know, like your life. You weren't exactly fond of me when we first met." He said with a smirk.

"Well, what do you wan't to know?"

"Hmm." He hummed. "Past boyfriends?"

I sigh-laughed. Of course that would be the first thing he'd want to know.

"Never had a boyfriend." I said quietly.

"And why is that?" He asked, still pressing on.

"Never had the time I guess."

"We have all the time in the world now.." He said more to himself than to me.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

He glanced over to me, a smile forming in his eyes before it showed on his lips. That smile was the most warmest smile that anyone could ever see. He returned his attention back to the road.

"Be my girlfriend." Miles said simply.

He caught me off guard. I had never had a boyfriend. I wasn't exactly the guy magnet either. He was the closest thing I had had to one since forever. Miles seemed like he really cared about me and maybe we both really liked each other.

"What made you want this?" I questioned.

"To give me another thing to fight for."

"But you have everything to fight for." I replied.

He looked out the rear view mirror and sucked his cheeks. "You'd give me a reason to fight even harder." He mumbled.

Giving in, I nodded my head in response to his original statement.

"Really?" He asked.

"Y-yeah." I mumbled.

He beamed. "This is great. I mean I know you're probably thinking that this is the most terrible time to pull the date card, but..yeah." He said awkwardly.

I gave Miles a reassuring smile, not knowing what to say. He continued driving at a descent speed, snaking his hand over to the passenger side and grabbed mine, continuing to stare ahead at the road. I squeezed his hand in return.

I thought maybe there wasn't much we had to worry about, I was wrong.

I woke up from a deep slumber. My head slouched in an awkward position on the window, my drool slowly making an attempt to drop from my mouth. Wiping my mouth with the palm of my hand, I sat up. The car was not in motion. It was silent and dark. I tried to make out what was in front of me. It looked similar to a house, but I wasn't sure.

I realized Miles, nor Izzy were in the car. I felt my heart beat race as I frantically looked around as I sat in the car. I cried out their names, stepping out the car, a dark figure stopped my attempt short.

It was Miles.

"What's going on?" I asked.

"We're here." He said with a crooked smile.
