Eleven or El for short. Ever since she has come I was chopped liver, nobody notices me. I mean nobody. Last week I asked Lucas for a pencil in math class, and this is what happened...
Flashback.
You- Lucas can I borrow a pencil?!
Lucas- guys did you hear something?
End of Flashback.
He didn't 'hear' me. I sit behind him. The one that hurts me the most, the one I'm deeply in love with. Michael Wheeler. He has been my best friend since forever, and for him to block me out like this hurts. Really bad.
Right now I'm in my room laying on my bed crying, sometimes take quick glances at the walkie talkie, but no voice is ever heard in my line. It hurts me that my friends that I've done everything for are doing this to me, shunning me out over a girl they just met a week ago. They act like she is a balloon. So delicate and if you touch her she will instantly popped. You know the first time I met them was when they were trying to 'fight' Troy. I saved them from that since Troy likes me, that was back in 4th grade. I was interrupted from my thoughts by a knock on my bedroom door. I sniffled and got up. I opened my door to see the one and only Mike Wheeler standing at my door. My eyes grew wide and my mouth twitched into a smile.
You- hey Mike.. what are you doing here?
Mike- Y/n well uh you see...
You- calm down Mike just tell me..
Mike- I'm so sorry..
You- f-for what
Mike- you know why. We blocked you out and I'm so sorry, I feel so bad for doing that to you!
Tears were streaming down my face. Tears of joy and sadness. Joy because he is at my door and sadness to see Mike this broken about me.
You- it's fine Mi-
Mike- no it's not fine! You are our best friend and we blocked you out for a girl that we just met! I'm so so-
I cut him off by kissing him on the lips. It was a short kiss, but it meant so much to me and hopefully to him too.
He looked at me wide eyed and started blushing. I smiled and looked down. He picked up my chin with his finger, so I could look at him. He was smiling and then the unbelievable happened. He kissed me. It was a quit long kiss, it had so much love. We pulled away to breathe.
You- w-wow
Mike- yeah.. well uh you wanna come over to mine and play Dungeons and Dragons with the boys?
You- I thought you never ask!
