Mr.Clark- now that we know who discovered gravity. Who can tell me what gravity does.
Gravity. It keeps you down on earth. It keeps you stable. It makes you stay down. Max and I always use to talk about how gravity was a magical thing and how much we needed it. I was so lost in thought that I didn't hear that Mr.Clark was calling me.
MR. SINCLAIR!
I jumped and looked his way. He raised and eyebrow and I mumbled a small 'sorry'.
Mr.Clark- would you care to share what was on your mind other than gravity Mr.Sinclair?
Lucas- uh- I- no..
Mr.Clark- alright. Pay attention. Gravity. The thing that helps us stay on the ground and not float.. get it.
The class stay silent. We all looked at him and he cleared his throat.
Mr.Clark- okay...

1 hour later...
Class was finally over and we all roamed the halls to go to our lockers. I opened my and put my stuff in and got things I needed for the next class. I closed it and Y/n was right there.
I jumped.
You- hi- sorry did I scare you?
Lucas- uh no, no it's fine.
I started walking and she followed.
You- so I was thinking maybe we could be partners for the gravity project.. I really don't have much friends.
Lucas- that would be amazing!- I mean that would be cool.
She chuckled. Play it cool Lucas.
You- so you want to meet up at mine or yours?
Lucas- uh uh mine is fine..
You- great! I'll see you later Lucas!
She kissed my cheek and skipped off to her next class leaving me struck. I put my hand over the cheek she had previously kissed. Wow.

After school...
I closed my locker after putting in all my things. I walked over to the group.
Dustin- hey lover boy!
Lucas- shut up!
Mike- what was that back in science dude..
Lucas- it- it just slipped..
Will- right. She is pretty cute
Dustin- no, no she's absolutely stunning

I looked over to see Y/n by my side with a smile on her face. She looked amazing. I kept staring until Mike kicked me. Y/n just blushed.

We all waved and went our separate ways.

Mike- okay what are we going as.. Y/n? Any suggestions?

We all looked at eachother and nodded, agreeing to go as that.
Will- crap it's already 8.. my brother should be here in a little. I'm going to pack up my stuff.
Mike- yeah I have to go help Nancy with her costume, she said she wanted to be 'badass' i don't know.
Dustin- I have to go home. My mom says that I should be home early. I don't know

They all went upstairs and closed the door leaving Y/n and I by ourselves.

I put my head down and not daring to look in her direction. I heard a chuckle and I lifted my head.

I sighed in relief.

I cut her off by kissing her lips. They were soft. The kiss was short yet passionate. We pulled away and smiled.
