BIRD WATCHER
Bird watching was my escape. Escape from my home, escape from the constant study of the Torah. It helped me cope with the things going on in my life. Today was one of those days, my dad had punished me for not reading my Torah but instead going to the arcade with Bill. Bird Watching changed my life for the better, until someone had to ruin that. My dad just finished telling me off about the whole bar mitzvah shindig, so I walked out and went to my bird watching place. Once I arrived i saw this girl sitting there with a book in her hand, I came closer to her figure to see she had a bird book too. I smiled a little and I tried to not interrupt, but just my luck a tree branch snapped under my foot and her head turned to my direction. I mumbled a quiet 'shit' under my breath, I looked up to see her smiling at me making her way to me. I straightened up a bit and looked at her.
You- hi, I'm Y/n! You are?
Stan- Stan, Stan Uris.
You- well nice to meet you Uris! You like bird watchin.
Her country accent, made me smile. It was something different about her that made me drawn to her or was because she has the same interest as me.
Stan- yeah uh yeah I love bird watching !
You- great come with me! I wanna show you the birds I done seen, you know in my book!
We made our way to the bench in the middle of the woods where you see most birds. As she showed me her book of birds, I couldn't help but laugh at how adorable she looked showing me her birds.
You- what's so god darn funny !
Stan- you look adorable...
She blushed and started smiling.
You- well, I'd have to say you are adorable to bird watcher
