A week later ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• "Mom, dad, we're home!" Jes yells as we walk in the house. "Girls, I have some mail for each of you!" We walk into the kitchen, and she hands us our packages. Elijah looks at Jes' pack, and Sams looks at mine. I look at the front, and see that it's from Lindsey Wilson, my dream school. "This is life or death!" I say and they all look at me. I rip it open and start reading.
Dear Ms. Alexandrea Johnson, On behalf of Lindsey Wilson, we would be joyed to have you in our school. We will provide a full ride scholarship, due to your advanced soccer skills. The 'early childhood development' department would be glad to have you as there own. Sincerely, Shanon Whieet
I look up at everyone, and see them looking at me patiently. "Jes, what does yours says?" I ask and she looks up at me. We make eye contact, and both squeal. "I got in!" We both scream at the same time. "There giving me a full scholarship!" I squeal and Sams hugs me. I kiss him, and Jes' dad clears his throat.
"We need to celebrate! Boys, go home and get ready. Jes, Alex, go get some nicer clothes. We're goin to Olive Garden. We nod then run up the stairs and squeal.
I'm so thankful Ms. and Mr. Davis said I could stay at there house until I go off to college, since I have no blood family left. Jes has a huge bedroom, so we put my bed in here also. She even has two closets, so one became mine.
We stand in front of the mirror and take a picture. I'm in a short, red dress, and she's in a short, blue dress. She has tan heels, I have black. We both have half our hair down, with the rest in a bun.
