Cassidy... Head of human resources is standing in front of me with one hand on her hip, looking revolted.

Cassidy:"Why is it so complicated to find anybody working at what they're paid for?..."

The weariness in her tone of voice makes my hairs stand on the end. Being unpleasant calls for skill but Cassidy, it's fine art!

If one day I need to take a crash course in bitchitude I'll know who to ask! Meanwhile, I just sit and suffer because I've bills to pay!

I nervously close the windows that are open on my screen whilst she glares at me with her snake like eyes.

This habit she has of popping up by surprise behind my back will one day give me a heart attack!

Cassidy:"May I ask why you're wasting your time on websites that are for teenagers looking for cheal thrills, instead of...?"

She stops an instant letting out a little mocking sigh.

Cassidy:"Sorry... I was about to employ a word that you're no doubt not very familiar with..."

Her lips stretch into a carnassial smile. The kind that means : "I'm gonna bite your head off!"

Cassidy:"WORK."

She says this as an order, leaning towards me.

T:"I was researching."

Cassidy:"Researching...?"

Cassidy:"You should get to work before I start searching for someone to replace you in your job, Miss White."

Without another word she spins around moving her head in the usual way, like the self-confident bitch that she is.

For a moment I see myself ten years back, humiliated by the school bully. To say that I hoped things would change once I was an adult!...

But no! Bitches are of all ages and they don't improve with time!

As Matt arrives I'm sighing and clicking on my mouse with virulence. He puts on his pain in the ass face straightaway

Matt:"Oh Uh! You don't look happy! It's working on your menu that turned you into a pack of nerves?"

T:"It's getting my head bitten of by Cassidy... I tell you, that woman will do me in..."

Matt:"Hmm... The day you fight, tell me, I'll bring the popcorn."

I glare at him.

He sits down at his desk smiling.

Matt:"Would you like me to get you coffee?"

Matt is sweet, I know he means well. But sometimes I really don't feel like talking nor joking.

T:"No thanks."

I plunge into my work frowning. It's gonna be a long day!
