Rin ~1

I am alone in this world. From earth to heaven, from heaven to hell, to hell to earth, I am alone. I am sorrounded by people, Angels, demons, humans, but I am alone. I am an angel, born of heaven, permitted to earth. Even though I was permitted I had never gone down to Earth before.I had heard to many terrible stories of things that happened there that heaven seemed so much better. But I was so alone, that i decided that I would go down there. 

I had to be careful down here since anyone could see me. I wandered around helplessly and ended up in front of a small deserted church. It was there that I collapsed, tears falling freely from my eyes. I hadn't been there lond when I hear a quiet voice behind me. It sounded human so luckily my wings were folded tightly to my back hidden. I turned to face her nt looking at her face but instead the pavement where her sweeping black dress touched the ground. My gaze traveled up to her small waist and then to the tightly fitting top half of her dress the sleeves over her arms to show her shoulders. I looked up farther to see a black ribbon chocker around her neck a small diamond pendant hanging down. Her chin was slim and her lips were small, touched with red lipstick. her nose was very angular and very definded. Her green hair was pulled back from her olive skinned face in a bun. I finally settled on her eyes and my own widened. those deep pulling green eyes, so filled with love, so filled with kindess. I was instantly captivated by this beautiful human girl. It was love at first sight for me, a love that was forbidden to an angel such as myself. 

I soon realized that her hand was held out to me to help me to my feet. I wasn't sure how long i had been staring into her eyes and i glanced down now embarressed and took her hand allowing her to help me to my feet. Her hand was warm and soft and i was reluctant to let it go but I did. 

"Please don't cry." the human said in a high tinkling voice. "It is so sad to see people cry."

I nodded vaugly wipping the remaining tears from my eyes. I took a deep breath closing my eyes and slowly released it. I opened them again to see her smiling face and I had to hold back another blush.

"Um . . . " The girl started turning her face slightly away, "If it isn't to hard . . . can you tell me why you are crying?" she looked down at the ground before finally glancing up at me her face showing an apology for prying.

I smiled a sad smile my head tilting slightly to the side. "I am alone here. not just here, I am alone everywhere."

Something flashed through the girls eyes but it was gone before I could tell what it was. She smiled softly and opened her curving mouth and said two words, "Not anymore."
