Rin ~3

Now that I had realized what had to be done I needed to find a demon, easier said then done. I couldn't enter hell directly without the invitation of a demon, and I knew I wasn't going to get one. So I spent a lot of my extra time wandering Earth trying to find a demon. Demons would come up to earth for different needs. Some were blood demons, they were the reasons ideas of vampires excist. There were also these demons that drew power from irritionable things such as greed, lust, gluttony, blah blah blah. Angels didn't have to find a source of power, we were the source of power for everything else.

That in mind I had never seen a demon so I wouldn't be able to know when I saw one, that only made things more difficult. I still had my daily meetings with Miku, I hadn't told her I loved her. I hadn't because as soon as I did I would die. Sad right? As an angel we were devoted to God and anything non-sin related, sort of like nuns. So if we ever made a love public we would burn, just like sinners. Of course God could never stop love itself that's why I was still whole and didn't have any charred flesh. 

It was two months before I ever saw a demon.

It was a long time, yes, however love is devoid of time as they say. It was more unlike I found him but that he found me. I first saw him leaning up against a brick wall and I didn't really take much consideration to him because he seemed to be just a normal human, I also didn't know what the auras of demons were or if they could hide them. I saw him posing there all sexily and didn't care. However the next day I saw him again, this time he was standing on the edge of a crowd and he was watching me. I wasn't sure it was the same guy since I was two towns over (angels can travel fast). The third day he approached me. I was in a wheat field getting ready to unfurl my wings and fly off to be in time for my meeting with Miku when he appeared out of thin air, literally. He just was there. It shocked me quite honestly and I wasn't sure what was hapening. 

He did not take any notice to my shock and instead shot a shinning grin. His blue hair had fallen into his eyes and he flicked his head to move them to the side. He was very tall and very handsome, with his longs limbs and even though he didn't look strong I could tell he had concealed muscle underneath his long black jacket, dark blue skinny jeans, and dark blue scarf, the same color as his hair, wrapped around his neck. 

"Hey angel." He said to me, his voice wasn't high but wasn't deep either, it was a soft comforting voice almost. "You seem to be looking for something."

I froze not wanting to answer. I checked his aura and realized he had none at all. Was that what demons were? No souls so no aura?

I must of had a look of bewilderment on my fast because he chuckled running a hand through his hair. "Yes I'm a demon, I guessed you had never met one before." he leaned forward running a cold finger down the side of my face. "I've seen an angel befre though. What have you been looking for?"

I shivered at his touch and he dropped his arm to his side his other hand tucked into the pocket of his jeans. "What makes you think I'm looking for someo- something." I corrected myself knowing he had noticed my slip up.

He lift his arms crossing them over his chest one finger tapping his chin thoughtfully. "The only person you speak to regularly is that girl . . . Miku? I think her name was. She is very pretty, I see why you are fond of the girl." He eyed me with an unrecongnizable glint in his eye.

I growled at him not answering.

He lifted his hands palms out, "Hey I'm not going to touch her. I'm not that kind of demon." he smiled me without showing any teeth. He shoved his hand back into his pocket and extended his other hand out to me to shake, "My name is Kaito, envy demon."

I glanced down at his hand before my eyes darted back up to his face. his face was almost kind but at the same time very blank. His eyes seemed to gleem for some unapparent reason and I took that into consideration knowing that he might want something of excess from me. He also was an envy demon, he wanted what others had and were a part of. That could be bad and good at the same time.

I finaly straightened not realizing I had bent into a definsive crouch and held out my arm gripping his hand in mine. I shook it once keeping my hand in his. "Rin," I said boldly, "Earth acess angel."
