Rin ~12

"Yes!" I yelled outraged that he sent me there knowing they would think like that. "How dare you do that to me! Your mom was basically naming our kids!"

Kaito laughed his smile wide, "I thought as much, I did tell Dad once that I had a thing for blondes."

I rolled my eyes crossing my arms over my chest, "Mei even said that too. Rima is the only one who believed me when I said we weren't a couple."

Kaito nodded his smile calming down a little. "She always could tell that sort of thing. How was Mizuki?" He asked his voice suddenly changing. I didn't answer right away and he must have realized something was up because his face sombered. "What? What happened to Mizuki?"

"He's..." I trailed off trying to find an easy way to say this without Kaito flipping out, "He's down here, on Earth. He followed you soon after you left..."

Kaito sighed and began pacing back and forth slowly at first but gradually sped up until he was kicking up dust and seemed to almost being a blur despite just walking. He stopped and sat down on a rock as the dust setled around him his head in his hands, "I shouldn't have left, he should't be down here, he needs to take care of the family, he will get hurt."

"Hey hey hey calm down Kaito I'm the one that's suppose to be going crazy." I walked over standing in front of him looking down at him.

"He was 16 when I left, He'll be 21 now. Four years Rin, four years. I've managed barely and I'm three years older than him." Kaito whispered.

Well now I knew how old Kaito is, 24. He's four years older than me. I crouch down so that I was looking up at his face and placed a light hand on his knee. "I'm sure he's fine Kaito, if he's anything like you he would be resourcful and be fine."

Kaito peeked through his fingers a glint of a smile in his eye, "You talk as if you've known me your whole life Rin, We've only known each other two days."

"Two?" I asked puzzled. "I met you today, before meeting up with Miku." 

Kaito dropped his arms so that his wrists were resting on his legs his hands flopping down. "Night has passed Rin." He glanced up at the sun, "And actually you are late for meeting Miku."

I jumped up gasping. Where did the time go? "Why didn't you tell me?!" I yelled frustrated. I spred my wings and was ready to take flight when Kaito reached out snatching my wrist keeping me from taking off. "what?" I looked at him annoyed.

"Can you take me with you Rin? I haven't flown in three years, I can travel fast but not through flight."  would have declined him right on the spot if it wasnt for his serious pleading eyes and envy.

"You will just slow me down I'll be late!" I tried taking off again but he just held my wrist tighter pulling me closer.

"Please Rin." His eyes were huge and pleading like a child asking his mother for a special toy.

"Fine!" I yelled stepping over and grabbing him around the waist. I stood off ungracefully pumping my wings hard to make up for the extra weight, but I was fine when I saw the pure happy look on Kaito's face.
