Miku was still holding her bread inches from her mouth not eating it while she looked worried at the three of us her head twisting to encompass all of us in her gaze. Kaito had just told me to try to calm down and not think about the couple across from us. Now however he was looking very confused at Len who was glaring at him. Kaito and I glanced at each other not sure why Len was disliking Kaito's presence.

"Len?" Miku asked laying her, now empty, hand on his arm that was on the table. He flinched looking over at Miku his face softening. "Is everything all right?" She glanced over at Kaito worry in her eyes.

Kaito simply shrugged but Len took her hand in his and smiled, "Yes everything is alright. Kaito just looks like someone I used to know."

Kaito frowned momentarily at that but let it go.

I pulled on Kaito's sleeve and he moved his ear closer for me to whisper in it, "Do you think he knew you before you came down here?"

Kaito shrugged again, "he seems familiar but I can't place him."

Miku relieved began to eat again and I stared down at my plate. Wasn't sure if this human food was going to be any good but I took a bite anyways. It wasn't fantastic like Miku was making it out to be but it was good and I ate a little without any complaints. I looked over Len who also was picking at his food in the same manner as me, like he wanted something better but was fine with this. Kaito however hadn't touched his food. As a demon he didn't eat food like humans or even the little amounts angels ate but he shouldn't be rude and eat nothing. I guess my eyes said all that because when he turned to look at me he sighed and picked up his fork stabbing a green bean. He put it in his mouth and took two quick chews before he swallowed.

There was not very much talking while we ate Len and I eating almost nothing while Kaito did his best to eat the minimal he could. Miku however did nothing to stop her eating and only slowed down when she realized no one else was really eating. "Is it not good?" She asked tears coming to her eyes.

"No!" I said shocked she would think such a thing, "We just don't eat much is all. It's part of our genes haha, small stomachs."

"Speaking of genes, are the two of your related?" Miku asked folding her hands under her chin.

I looked at Len as I answered, "I think we might be. But only those in the presence of God would know now wouldn't they?"

Ren locked eyes with me before looking down at his plate almost looking guilty. "Those who have left the presence of God shouldn't be associated with those who still are."

"And yet here I am." I said with a laugh. "how long have you been down here?"

"Years.... It' been so long." Ren replied still looking down at his plate.

Kaito was keeping up but Miku was totally lost looking back and forth between us as our exchange went on.

"Um.... What?" Miku asked curious as to what was happening.

"It's a family thing I'm sorry I can't explain." I said with a polite smile.

Miku turned to Len like she was expecting him to explain but he was still looking guilty down at his plate. Noticing this she shrank back and pouted slightly biting on her lip but not saying anything.

"I plan on leaving the company anyways." I said taking a small bite.

Len's head shot up looking at me with sheer shock flashing in his blue eyes. "No! It isn't worth it! I left looking for someone who had and I can't find him. I think I've found him now but he has changed so much that I regret leaving my family..."

"Listen to him Rin," Kaito said joining the conversation, "Nothing you do down here will help you it isn't worth it to leave."

"Yet that is what I plan to do." I said looking at Kaito before turning my gaze onto Len. Both of them deflated a little when they saw the determination set deep in my eyes.
