quote of the day

What is more
Deadly
A gun
Or a thought?

A gun gives
You the opportunity
but
A thought pulls the trigger.

"What's up?" I asked leaning against the wall.

"We have to stay here tonight." Hayley said.

"I know, I just don't want any questions." I said as Leaned my head back.

"Annie, it's going to have to come out soon." Hayley said sighing.

"I know, I'm just not ready." I replied back.

"Okay well tonight we are staying here, I don't want Luke to find us and Hayden's here and he wants to make sure your safe." She said with a half smile.

"I'm safe at our house." I replied rolling my eyes.

"Annie," she said as she started getting agitated "we are here for tonight, we will figure out when it's safe to head home later."

I sighed as she smiled at me.

As we started exiting the room.

I entered the kitchen to see the boys all chilling out on the couch.

"Are you staying?" They all asked.

"Yes." I replied laughing.

they all smiled ear to ear at me.

I walked over to the couch as me and Hayley sat next to each other.

"Tomorrow we can do something fun." Dylan said.

"Does that sound good girls?" Hayden asked, being his gentleman self.

"Sure." I said as Hayley smiled.

We reminisced for 10 minutes before everyone's eyes started to get heavy, and a yawning spell came over us all.

"Who's ready for bed, raise your hand." Jimmy said yawning.

We all raised our hands and laughed.

"Well let's head to bed then, I need some shut eye." Hayden said.

Everyone started to get ready for bed, we dimmed the lights in the house and I flopped down on the sheets next to Hayley.

"Good night." Hayden hollered.

As we all replied the same "good night." I smiled to myself, its so good to be here.

I laid back in my bed, I was blessed to have her here.

I sat up for what felt like hours, I couldn't fall asleep to save my life.

Worried about Annie, I was high alert to say the least.

I tossed and turned back and forth, I was thinking about just this situation in whole.

My curiosity about her parents came into play in my mind a lot, they had to have held her back from coming here.

She used to love it here.

I am curious about her sadness to, I could never imagine such a bright girl being depressed.

But it lingered with me for quite awhile for some reason.

Her past was questionable, I watched the vlogs everyday.

I would wait for them everyday, on occasions I would watch the ones with us together more than I'd like to admit.

Billy and Katie seemed so happy.

But I could always tell the girls were on edge.

I sat in bed silently, my eyes flooded with tears as they rolled down my cheeks.

Sometimes I didn't even know why I was crying, it just happens out of the blue.

Anxiety and depression sucks ass.

I looked up at the clock to see how many hours I had been awake.

1:45 AM, it read.

I needed to blow off steam, I rolled softly out of bed careful not to wake Hayley.

I grabbed some lulu lemon leggings and a coat and my AirPods, I slipped my phone into my pocket as I walked quietly out of the giant apartment.

Praying that I didn't wake anyone.

I slipped my headphones in and started to run, I knew my way around this town even if I was blindfolded.

I just I ran, and ran and ran.

My breath sped as I got faster, running was all I cared about in this moment.

It was an escape, the city lights shined into my eyes.

As I smiled.
