We arrive as to what I am calling home for now, Hayden's house.

The smell of mahogany and teakwood fills the air, or what I like to call 'the smell of a man'.

I walk back to our room setting my bag down, before walking back out to the kitchen accompanied by everyone else.

I plop myself down on the chair in the living room, everyone else giggling, smiling and conversing.

"What movie shall we watch tonight." Hayden asks with his head held high in a odd voice like a weirdo.

"Hmm I don't know." I say giggling at his actions.

We begin searching through the thousands of movies, one after the other.

The sunset peaks over the city building leaving a beautiful colour washing against the white walls.

"Ahh, this one?" Jimmy stops at.

"Looks good." Dylan says as we all nod.

"I'll make cookies and popcorn." I say standing up to go to the kitchen.

"Ohhhhhh." Hayden says clapping like a seal.

"Gosh, your pampering us Annie." Dylan says as they all giggle.

I begin making chocolate chip cookies and milk that I picked up today and popcorn like we used to always do on movie nights.

The smell of mahogany turns to a fresh warm cookie smell.

As the small talk in the living room keeps the room from being quiet.

Hayden walks into the kitchen, to keep me accompanied.

"Remember Paige used to make us cookies every movie night we had." He says wandering into the kitchen by my side.

"Yes, yes I do." I say laughing.

"That was the best look at us now, now this is the best." He says smiling ear to ear.

His grin never disappoints to light up a room.

I finish up the chocolate chip cookies and pour 5 glasses of Milk for us all, leaving them on the living room table along with a plate full of warm cookies.

They all dig in as if they were five year olds in a candy shop, leaving about two cookies left.

I grab them as they all thank me.

"This taste brings back twelve year old me." Hayden says chomping on a cookie.

"I haven't had this good of a cookie in forever." Jimmy says smiling.

The cookie talk continues on as we begin the movie the talking slowly dies down, now the TV voices are all we hear besides popcorn chomping.

It feels like home.

Seeing Annie and Hayley snuggled up on my couch makes me feel as if I was blessed by angles above.
