I saw Annie pas the hall, as she was dressed up and I heard the door silently shut.

I jumped out of bed and ran down the hall at a high rate of speed for my unfit self, I saw the elevator shut as I about ran out.

Then I realised I needed to at least get dressed.

I threw on some sweatpants and a hoodie and ran after Annie.

I don't know what's she's doing, but I can't have her alone.

I clicked the elevator button repeatedly giving it a complex, once it finally opened I climbed inside.

I reached the first floor, witch was 10 floors down from out place as I jogged out of the lobby and the cold L.A. night air blew over me and I started to search for Annie.

I started running, my eyes grazed all over to find her.

No sight, I started to get worried.

I figured out I was not a runner, that's for damn sure.

I spotted her as i felt a sigh of relief.

"Annie!" I Hollered at her.

She kept her head straight running, then I realised she had earbuds in.

"Great, she can't hear me." I breathed out as I ran, trying my best to catch up to her without having a heart attack.

As she ran a truck approached her, going a high rate of speed.

I started hollering, this time louder than the others.

"Annie!" I practically screamed.

I was steps away from her, but So was the truck.

The truck swooped by her, I grabbed her waist and pulled her back to my chest.

As the vehicle slid past us both, missing her by inches.

Annie screamed in fright, as she squirmed out of my arms, I turned her around.

"What, who, why, why are you following me?" She stuttered out over heavy breaths.

"You scared me." I said, ignoring her question.

"You scared me." She said mocking me.

"Who the hell was that?" I asked holding her still.

"No idea." She replied out of breath.

"Are you okay?" I asked.

"I'm fine." She replied pulling out both of her earbuds, shoving them in her jacket.

I can't scare her away but I just about pissed myself moments ago.

She looked up at me with Her eyes puffy and red.

We both started walking side by side.

"Why?" I said out of the blue after moments of silence.

"What?" She asked.
