Hayden opened up the car door after our short ride, he reached for my hand as I  grabbed his as he helped me out of the car.

he went to grab my waist to help me stabilise myself  as I shot back in fear of a boy grabbing me like that "no!" I got out over a hiccup from being flustered over this whole situation, I slipped backwards as he caught me "You okay?" He asked confused.

As I nodded with my eyes still watering, I wiped away the rolling tears.

I was happy to see him again but right now Im sure the feelings are mutual about the past 6 years, awkward.

They helped me into the hospital as I hobbled on one foot.

"What's your name?" The assistant asked "Annie leblanc." I replied.

"Fill this out and we will have you soon." The lady said with a kind smile.

I sat back in the chair As I started to write down information, with Hayden Hayley and Jimmy seated around me.

I finished the clipboard of papers as hayley handed it into them before returning back to her seat.

As we sat in awkward silence, I felt bad for Hayden for trying to help me, I can't trust any boy that I know, it's just a natural instinct.

"So what have you all been up to?" Jimmy said as an icebreaker.

As Hayley glanced at me "uhh..." I said as I thought as what to tell him.

"Later?" He asked as I nodded, Hayden put his hand on my back as I jumped again.

"Sorry." I said as I looked up at him.

"It's okay." He replied in a low, soft voice.

This was going to be a long explanation.

"Miss Leblanc." The doctor said as she called Annie back.

"you guys can stay here for now." She said as the lady helped her into a wheelchair, and the walked down the long hall as we heard a door shut.

Hayley sat back in her seat, releasing a sigh.

"Well it's nice to see you again." I said as she half smiled as I reached my arms out as she hugged me.

"But how and Where are your parents?" Jimmy asked smiling as Hayley's eyes widened.

"They stayed home." She said as she scratched her head, after all these years I can still tell when Hayley is lying.

I was scared about if I hurt Annie, every time I'd touch or come near her she would act as if I was going to hurt her, I resisted to ask but I just had to.
