Hawaii
Look out upon the ocean
Gentle traveller
Forget all you once thought
You’re here now you made it
Waves crashing
Surfers riding them to the beach
One with the water
The water
Pristine clear aquamarine blue
I want to be part of you
Hawaii
One with your volcanoes and your pineapple plantations
At least for 2 weeks a year
When I can get away
Hawaii
With your harbor of dead ships
Still leaking oil still filled with death
Monuments to insanity
In paradise
Hawaii

Poems From Inside Me
PoetryThis is a chapbook of poetry that led me to dedicate myself to writing, whether it be for money or simply to express myself. In this book I talk about family, love, loss and all the illusions that life brings us through.
