Chapter 24:)

LUKE POV

Tonight was great. So great. I was now lying down on my bed, looking up at the ceiling. Images of Bailey laughing and running around played over in my head as I tried to fall asleep. Moonlight filtered through my slightly open drapes, illuminating my room around me. Band posters hung crookedly off the light blue walls and several guitars lay in different corners of the room. I was about to fall asleep when my phone's screen illuminated through the dark the notification dinging through the silence.

I leaned over and sleepily pressed the home button to read what it said.

It was a tweet. I rubbed my tired eyes as I typed in my password and entered twitter.

I tapped on the 5SOS band dash and bolted upright in absolute shock.

My eyes widened and I heard ringing in my ears.

I blinked several times and even pinched myself. Louis Tomlinson from One direction just tweeted our video of Gotta get out?! I must be dreaming.

I quickly favourited the tweet and rolled out of bed, grasping my phone with both hands. I exited twitter and dialled Ashton's number.

"Mmmmmm wha?" He asked. It sounded like he was about to fall asleep.

"LOUIS TOMLINSON JUST TWEETED US!?" I yelled down the phone, not caring for my sleeping family.

"You shitting me?" Ashton questioned as he slowly began sounding more awake.

"Check twitter." I yelled down the phone a huge smile plastered on my face.

The other end was silent, my call was minimised as Ashton went onto twitter. A couple of seconds passed until...

"Holy ?#!%*!#@K." I heard Ashton yelled into the phone. A string of intense swearing and excitement drilling into my ear.

"What does this mean?" I asked pretty much jumping around the room.

"IT MEANS THE BIGGEST BOYBAND IN THE WORLD FOUND OUR VIDEO AND LIKE IT!!!! WE MIGHT BE FAMOUS!!!!" Ashton was yelling and, like me, very much awake.

"I can't sleep." I yelled again as adrenaline rolled like a tidle wave through my veins.

"I gotta go. I'm going to faint." Ashton laughed as the phone went dead.

I was left blinking, in the middle of my room. I had to tell someone. I looked at the clock, 11:49pm. It was late, but this was something worth waking up over. I ran out into the hall and turned all the lights on.

"LOUIS TOMLINSON FROM ONE DIRECTION TWEETED A LINK TO OUR VIDEO!!" I yelled at the top of my lungs, repeatedly.

I was standing, breathing hard as mum and dad ran out of their room, blinking sleep out of their eyes, hair ruffled and genuinely just looking annoyed.

"What's with the yelling?" Dad groaned as he rubbed his eyes rather forcefully.

"Have you heard of One Direction? The biggest boyband in the world right now?" I questioned trying to keep calm, my voice was very uneven, jumpy with excitement.

"Yes, the ones with the hair in their eyes and baby faces..... Ummmmm What Makes You Beautiful is it?" Mum continued looking somewhat engaged in the conversation.

"Louis from One Direction tweeted the link to Gotta Get Out. Our new video!!" I finished, my voice getting higher and higher with each word.

"Luke honey that's amazing!!!" Mum yelled joining in my excitement. Dad just stood there looking extremely astonished.

"I don't think I can go to sleep!!!" I yelled as I ran down stairs, for what purpose, I didn't even know.

I spent the rest of my night watching re-runs of How I Met Your Mother, between episodes I would check to see it the tweet was still there, just to make sure I wasn't dreaming. I was running on adrenaline and I couldn't contain my excitement.

By about 6am I was still just as excited, I had never felt this way about anything before, except when I kissed or looked at Bailey........., but this was a different situation.

By 7:30am I was dressed, showered and ready to take on school. I had no care in the world at this point in time.

I even was happy to catch the bus!!! That's saying something because usually any chance I got I'd scam a lift. But not today.

I waited by the curb, I had both headphones in and I was listening to my vocals for the next song we where going to put up on you tube. It was called Out of My Limit. We had even looked around to see if it could be made into a single on Itunes. We hadn't heard back yet, but it was only October so anything could happen.

The thing is we kinda are keeping it quiet at the moment. We have been warned not to yell out what we are planning to do into the world incase it doesn't go to plan. We don't want to upset people and lie, putting everyone in false hope.

I felt guilty hiding such a big secret away from Bailey and our fans but I really don't want to get ahead of myself.

It was warmer today, spring had finally come, I guess which was nice. I loved the summer, beaches, icecream, swimming, you name it.

The bus rumbled round the corner spitting unnecessary fumes into the air. I stood back from the side walk as the bus came to a grunting stop.

The doors beeped open and I thanked the driver.

Suddenly, screams met my ears and a dozen girls bombarded me. I felt overwhelmed by bodies as I manoeuvred my-way through bodies and bodies of people I didn't even know. It was so weird.

I finally reached the seat where the boys where. They all had puzzled looks on their faces.

"What's going on?!" I asked in astonishment as I slid into the seat between Calum and Bailey.

"Everyone knows about the tweet." Ashton said grimly.

"It was also leaked about the single." Michael whispered as a chorus of congratulations erupted through the moving bus.

"Shit." I thought to myself

Theres no going back now.

Sorry this is a bit of a filler.....

nevermind we cant have the story going along at crazy speeds. I do have a major complication coming up and its mean and only one person knows what it is cause im mean like that. Let me just say its going to be emotional and confusing!!!!
