Chapter 27:)

"This is big Luke." I sighed, slumping back onto his bed in frustration, staring up at the white ceiling.

"I know, it just exploded, even I wasn't expecting it." He trailed off, I couldn't see his face from this angle but I could feel him sit down beside me. The bed sinking under his weight.

"So what's happening from here?" I asked, sitting up to face him, cross legged.

"Well," he said as he took my hands out of my lap and began playing with my fingers. The warmth sent wonderful shivers down my arms. I raised my eyes to look at his face, his blue eyes held the utmost concentration as he entwined his fingers with mine.

"The EP is released on December 7th on ITunes and on these little CD things in JB and places like that..." Luke laughed shaking his gorgeous sandy blonde head.

"December 7th?! Thats next Monday!!" I gasped as my brain did the calculations.

"I know." Luke sighed as he pulled my arm gently towards him. I obliged and turned around resting my head on his chest. I could feel his breath move in and out of his lungs and the beat of his heart through the thin material of his shirt. It was somewhat comforting, yet, I dont understand why I'm so worked up over this? Shouldn't I be happy? Maybe it was just an emotional time of the month.............

I didn't even know....

My mind drifted off into thought as Luke began fiddling aimlessly with my hair, it was cute when he did that.

"That's great Lucas, you should be proud of yourself. But please dont let it get to your head. Please stay my humble little Lucas." I spoke forcefully, turning on my side so I could drill my eyes into his, poking his cheek. A smile that could cure cancer lit up his face, the light glowing like an ember behind his sky coloured eyes.

"My little Lucas?" He teased, bending over to kiss me nose, the cheeky bastard.

"You got a problem with that?" I laughed as I sat up, making my way towards the door. I was stopped by a pair of arms wrapping themselves around my waist.

"No, only if you can be my princess." He murmered into my neck where his head was currently burried. His hair tickeled my nose, making a smile creep onto my lips.

"Of corse, as long as I'm not your babe." I laughed as I began walking out the door. Luke continued to hold onto my waist doing an awkward skip-like movement behind me.

"Why can't I call you babe?" He questioned, his expression looking slightly puzzled.

"You call her babe and she will drop-kick your skinny ass into the next century pretty boy." Mikaela laughed up from the bottom of the stairs,

"Believe me, I learnt the hard way." She laughed jesturing to the bruise on her knee. A wave of guilt washed over my body as I remembered what happened a couple of days ago.

Long story short she said "By babe" and I kicked her in the skin.....I know right, agressive bitch right here.

"Hahahahaha, ok then, I'll stick with princess." Luke laughed, scratching the back of his head as we both made our way down the stairs.

Once we where down stairs Ashton adressed us as a group.

"Family and girlfriends." He jestured to Mikaela, who turned an impressive shade of scarlet,

"Today I stand here inviting you all to stay the night in the celebration of our new EP Somewhere New. Sadly, you have no choice in the matter of staying, because Michael has locked all the doors and disposed of the key...."

"Wait, I have..?" Michael asked, looking up from where he sat on the couch next to Lizzie, his face looking totally perplexed and confused.

Ashton glared at Michael, the look somehow refreshing Michael's memory

"Oh yeah, I did." He haistly replied as his eyes darted from Ashton's.

Ashton then turned to the rest of us, his eyes bouncing from each of us as he continued.

"Tonight we are going to have a night of festivities, eating, gaming and movie watching..." His sentence was cut short by Calum who took us all by surprise.

"AND NO ONE IS GONNA STOP US!!" He yelled, his sudden outburst caused Claudia to jump from beside him.

Everyone started laughing as Calum began punching the air in front of his face like a total dork.

I looked over at the large clock mounted on the wall, the old wooden hands read 6:30pm, it was food time. Food was a basic necessity for me. I ate so much and still somehow managed to be hungry. Mikaela and Claudia had an issue with the amount of food I ate. It was true, I ate like a teenage boy, but I couldn't help it, it was part of me and they just had to accept that.

"I'm hungry!!" Luke whined as he dropped to the ground, curling into a foetal position, rocking back and forth. It was almost as if he had read my mind.

"Pizza." I replied instantly.

"You picked a keeper Luke!!" Calum laughed which earned him an elbow in the ribs from Claudia.

"I know right!!" Luke muffely exclaimed from where he lay face down in the carpet.

"Ok I'm on it!!" Ashton giggled as he made his way towards the kitchen.

"He Mika can you give me a hand?" Ash asked, his voice echoing through the house as his footsteps disappeared down the hall.

Mikaela followed, pretty much jumping out of her seat.

"We'll chose a movie!!" Calum yelled out to Mikaela and Ashton, they didn't reply. That's weird.....

Luke, Calum and Michael al exchanged a look before running upstairs. I was beginning to worry. What are thy going to do?!

"Oh god!!" Lizzie giggled from the couch to my right. She had her face buried in her hands.

"They are so weird." Claudia laughed shaking her head.

"Get used to it." Lizzie chuckled as the three boys came trampling back down the stairs. They sounded like a heard of wild elephants. Lanky, teenage elephants.

"We have chosen." Calum said in a suspenseful voice wiggling his eyebrows making us all chuckle.

Luke drum rolled on his leg and Michael just kinda stood there awkwardly.

"The best movie OF all time." Michael continued as Luke continued to drum his fingers into his right knee.

"OMG REALLY?!" Claudia and I laughed at their excited faces....

You can't be serious.
