Rumours, Mean People

After class, it was lunch time. When I arrived at the cafeteria, I saw that there was a lot of people and most of the tables are already full.

I tried to find a table that wasn't filled with people but I was having a really hard time but after a while I finally saw one.

I went to table and I was about to sit when suddenly someone pushed me and sits at the table. I went to tap on the person's shoulder and said "excuse me but I was about to sit at this table. Can you please give it back to me?"

She just looked at me and said "why should I! A person like you has no right to sit here, a boyfriend stealer. Who's also a slut. I can't believe that we pick someone like you to represent our college"

I just stand there while she was talking, I didn't know what to say to her. I feel like crying. I didn't want to stay there any longer so I turned around to look for another place to sit. But most table was full and those that have space didn't want me to seat with them.

I guess I will just eat somewhere else, I was about to leave when I heard somebody call my name. I turned to look at who was calling me and I saw that it was tee, he was waving at me and calling me over to his table. So I went to where he was sitted.

He smiled at me and said "yo, come and sit here with us. I saw what happened earlier, sorry that I wasn't able to protect you"

I smiled at him and said "it's okay. Thanks for allowing me to sit here"

I took a sit beside tee, I saw that fuse, book and frame was also sitted at the table. They smiled at me and told me to eat. So I went and eat my lunch with them. I had a really great time with them that I forgot what happened earlier. I really hope that this rumour would just disappear already and that everything would return back to normal.

So after we finished eating, I still have afternoon classes so I said my goodbyes and left to go to my classroom.

Class wasn't really that eventful not much really happen, people still keeps on looking at me and talking about me behind my back because of that stupid rumour. I can't wait for this day to finally end and hope that everything would be much better tomorrow.

After class, I texted P'Pha and said "P'Pha, my class is already finish. Should I wait for you to pick me up or should I go home on my own?".

He replied "yo, I'm really sorry but I'm still at class and I still have one more hour to go before I finish for the day. But I texted ming to pick you up and he said that he will wait for you in front of your building"

I replied "Okay P'Pha, I will see you later. Focus on your class"

He replied "Okay yo, see you later"

I went outside and saw ming's car park in front of our building, I quickly went to his car and went inside.

He smiled at me and said "P'Pha texted me to fetch you after your class finish for the day, he told me that he still have a class with P'Kit and P'Beam"

I said "Okay, thanks for fetching me. P'Pha really worries about me at all. I mean I can go home on my own, he didn't need to text you just to fetch me"

He started the car and started to drive, while driving. He asked me "it's okay for me, it was no trouble at me. By the way yo, do you want to go somewhere for a while because I feel like you need someone to talk to because I heard some pretty bad rumours about you"

I look at him and said "sure, let's go to the hotpot restaurant. I really need someone to talk to right now"

So we went to the hotpot restaurant, when we went inside and I saw that there wasn't a lot of people so we were able to quick pick a seat.

We ordered our food first after we finish ordering our food. I told ming what happened today, I told him about how people were looking at me and was talking behind my back the whole day. I also told him about that girl who said all those terrible and nasty stuff about me during lunch and how I had a hard time finding a place to eat but luckily tee was there so I was able to sit with him.

After I finish telling ming what happened today, he looked really mad and wanted me to tell him the name of the girl who was so mean to me but I didn't know who she was.

Ming said "I didn't know where the rumours came from, it just started spreading and it was spread so wide that it reach our college. I wonder who started that rumour and why would they something like that"

I sighed and said "I don't know where it came from either. When I arrived at school earlier this morning. People were already looking at me and the rumour was all people were talking about"

He smiled and said "don't worry yo. This are just rumours and it would disappear so we should wait for it and don't be sad because I'll always be here to protect you and I know that P'Pha would always be there for you"

I smiled at him and said "thanks ming for being my best friend, even though sometimes I still question why we are friends"

He said "hey, how can you say that"

I just laugh at him. Yeah ming is right this are just rumours and it would go away on it's own so I should not be sad and that P'Pha would always protect me.
