It's not everyday that you get loving parents who begs you not to endanger yourself right? Well mine didn't even ask to join us on a life risking mission nor did they try to stop us, it's as if we're soldiers or something. Don't get me wrong i am never backing down and i don't want their help.. but it would have impressed me somehow,

Our journey was not long thankfully. Our plan is to attack the prison from the secret passages underneath it. A few soldiers tagged on, we got weapons and everything was going great!

The passage was very dark only lit by the torches in our hands, the passage looked very old and it was freezing and smelt like sea water and mud, not to mention the dead rat's scent that burnt my nostrils. EWWW!
'Grow up kiddo' i heard Zander's voice through my mind
'Don't you kiddo me, you are as old as i am' i glared at him which earned me a curious look from zuri
I smiled at her shyly ,
'Why exactly are you in my head zee'
I saw a smile tugging on his lips
'Zee? What are we using nicknames now or something'
I couldn't help but shrug, and said 'Well we might not survive this thing so we might as well enjoy it'
Zander's expression turned dead serious as he said ' You don't die on me'
Just as i was about to reply Zuri turned to us and said "stephan"
A tall guy walked past me and stood in front of a very old metal door, i heard a creaking sound as if every piece of metal is being broken or something then the door fell off its hinges only to be caught by kayden and laid down gently.
The sound of swords and guns being pulled set my blood on fire,as ifevery part of me aches for action, everything i was taught by zander came down crashing on me.
We enter a great hall full of cells with metal doors, it smell like death in here.
My hair stands on my arms and i shiver,
We slip inside quietly, Cauis leading the way followed by zander and zuri. I can hear the sound of quiet weeping and i can smell anxiety and fear in the air.
We stop at the sight of guards, four of them guarding four large cells, three of our soldiers engaged them and knocked them unconscious,
I grabbed the keys from the guards abd through them to Zuri
" hurry! The next shift comes in 5 minutes" whispered kayden.
I nodded, Zuri opened the cells and i ushered the men, women and children towards the secret passage the men guarded the entrance as zuri and i helped them get out they were all out but i had to check the cells .

I heard the sound of heavy breathing from a cell at the far end, i ran there quickly followed by Zuri.
A woman who looked no more than 20 years old was lying down in a pool of blood, her clothes were torn and i knew from the look of it that she's not leaving this place alive.
"Hey! Stay with me" i whispered holding her head slightly to make her look at me.
"Your highness" zuri gasped eyes widening from shock
"Save..him., they took him.." the woman's eyes fluttered heavily then she coughed.
"Zuri, lets carry her we have no time left" i whispered
"No! Go help him..." the woman breathed out.
"Who!"
"Adrian! The takeshi prince " zuri said as she lifted the lady up.
"Run zuri, I'll be behind you" i said running in an opposite direction.
" you have to come with me!" Zuri urged.
"Go zuri" i looked her in the eye ordering her, she clearly despised my command
"Hold on your highness " she said as she sprinted down the hall
I ran looking in every cell searching for Adrian, But i found nothing, i couldn't give up, i found stairs that led to a level down, i made my way down there to be met by five guards.
A man hissed "kill her!"
"Oh my god! People say hi first! And btw i don't wanna die today!" I shrugged as i threw fire around them not hurting them but stopping them,
"Where's he?" I asked
One of the men tried to pass the fire but jumped back when his hand burned.
"You can't get him out,you fool! You will all be dead"
I shrugged "we'll get him out, and FYI if you move again you die"

I grabbed one of them and held a dagger to his throat " take me to him"

The guard looked like he might gut me in a second so i shackled him with fire made shackles that only hurts if you fight it.
He took me to a dark cell "here" he growled
"This might hurt when you wake up" i sighed as i hit him hard on the head knocking him unconscious.

The cell was locked too well i couldn't open it. So i melted the door.

Dim light fell on the dark cell lightly illuminating a heap of clothes in the corner of the cell. A shudder went through my body as i rushed to the bloody body in the corner, and i don't mean bloody as a curse, the man was literally covered in blood from head to toe! He must have suffered much.
I ran to him quickly
"Adrian sir!" I went to check his pulse, and i felt his heart beating, good!
"Come on sir, help me get up!" No answer, i shook his body and he groaned "Mia?.."

What? no! It's not the time to hallucinate. For god's sake!!

"No, we need to get out now" i urged while trying to lift him up.

"Who..are you?" He breathed
"Not the time sir, lets go" i said quietly as pain surged through my body, god! His royal highness is as heavy as a block!!
A laugh sounded at the cell's door, i looked up to find a man well built, as the light fell on his face i could see a big scar brimming his face from his eyes down to his mouth. The man smiled a wicked smile, and shifted on his feet so that i could see men behind him.

Shit!shit!shit!!

"Pathetic aren't you? I thought your leaders would have sent a warrior to save dear Adrian here.. but they sent a helpless girl" he eyed me sharply
And i felt goosebumps on my arms.as his filthy eyes raked over me.

The man took a step forward and i shouted "Stay were you are"
"Or what little girl? Will you slap my face with your purse"

Bloody piece of rotten potato!! Who does he think he is?
"One: you'd wish i had my purse, two: you'll let us pass or you and your men will die"
"Are you threatening me little girl?!" His eyes shined with mischief,
"How dare i ?! Of course not! I don't make empty threats, I am promising you big guy"

He laughed like the disgusting creature he is. He picked a little dagger and asked
"Do you have any last wishes little girl?"
I shrugged, or tried to shrug while holding prince Adrian. "Do you?" I said

The guy smirked and threw his dagger at me on le to meet a wall of fire that melted it.
Prince Adrian looked at me in with curiosity in his eyes. "Later" i whispered.
My fire rose high making the men stumble backward, leaving a clear path for us to move
" Come on" i tightened my grip on Adrian as we walked toward the door step.
Once outside my heart nearly stopped as i saw the scarred man holding Zander a sword pointed to his back and a chain pulsing with electricity around his neck.
"Let him go!" I said
And i screamed as blood poured from Zander's gear.
