Felix messaged me saying that the idea was approved and that a car would arrive shortly.
About 10 minutes had passed and a car pulled up to where I was standing. The driver opened the window.
"Are you Y/N L/N?" He questioned. I simply nodded.
He got out and opened the door for me to reveal Chan sitting in the back.
"So Miss L/N, where are we heading?" The driver inquired.
I told him the address and we started heading off. I had my hands resting on my stomach comfortably.
"So, what's your baby's gender?" I heard Chan ask me.
"A boy and I'm thinking about calling him Jasper," I explained.
"Oh, that's a nice name."
"Yeah, well it works in both English and Korean so yeah. Also, thank you for coming to the appointment with me. I needed someone to do a little bit of translating for me and I also needed some moral support. These appointments can be pretty scary because of how judgemental people are."
"No, I completely understand what you're saying. I just thought you would have wanted Felix to go with you seeing he's only about one year older than you are. Also, what are we going to be doing in this appointment anyway? Sorry, I really don't know, seeing I've never been to this kind of appointment before."
"Well, pretty much they're just checking to see if he's healthy, any disorders anything along those lines."
"Oh. Ok."
"It should only take about 15 minutes unless he's being too difficult and I have to move Jasper around."
"Move him around?" He shouts in surprise.
"I just have to bounce on a gym ball, nothing weird." I laugh.
"Oh my gosh, thank god. I was not thinking like that."
"We're here." The driver announces suddenly.
"Oh, thank you," I replied.
Chan got out of the car and dashed to my door as I started to open it. He quickly swung the door open and helped me out. I fixed up my flowy shirt and put on a mask that Chan had given me. I close the car door and quickly enter the building. I walk up to the reception and tell them I have an appointment.
"Okay Y/N. Can you please take a seat in the waiting room? The doctor should not be long."
Chan and I quickly sit down on the seats. "You're coming into the room, right?" I question.
"If you're comfortable with that, then yeah of course."
"I am, thank you so much. I'm getting an ultrasound done, obviously. So, I will have to bring my top up."
