I give Jasper another spoonful of the pear and peach puree, noticing that he is slightly starting to push the spoon away from his mouth. I close the pouch and start breastfeeding him again.
I quickly finish up and sit Jasper back down. The boys are talking about random things, like always and Haneul decides to take this opportunity to talk to me.
I stand up, placing Jasper in Felix's lap and walk to where Haneul is walking to, which is a couple of metres away from the group so they can't hear us.
"So, Y/N, did you talk to Felix about potentially being pregnant?" She questions me.
I nod quickly.
"What did he say?" She asks.
"Well, pretty much he said that it took Brayden about a year to get me pregnant last time, so hopefully, this isn't his once-a-year chance kind of thing. He did say that I should take a pregnancy test in a couple of weeks, even if I don't have symptoms."
"That's actually a really good idea, it should put your mind at ease then."
"Yeah, definitely. I think I'll be fine anyways."
"Just remember that there is still the possibility, don't rule it out completely."
I nod and we head back to the group. I grab my share of the Chinese food and start eating it. Suddenly, I see a small hand trying to steal some food. I turn around and see a toddler staring at me and then Jasper. I put my food down and look at the child.
"Hey, where's mummy and daddy? You aren't allowed to steal other people's food." I ask him.
He doesn't answer but puts the food he has down and runs over to Jasper, who is still in Felix's lap. He sits down and touches Jasper's hair. It's kind of weird but the kid's like two, there's nothing we can do.
"Dispatch, we have a literal stray kid out here," Changbin jokes, making us all laugh.
Felix puts Jasper down and they start 'playing' together. Well, it's more like the toddler playing and Jasper is hitting him, which the kid is apparently fine with.
After about 10 minutes, Felix and I decide that we should take him back to his parents.
"Hey, bud, where's mummy and daddy?"
He points in a direction and we follow his finger to a group of teenagers smoking.
Felix looks at me.
"Maybe we should let him stay here a little longer. Must be teen parents but there's no way I'm letting the kid near people smoking." Felix declares.
"Yeah, it's kind of strange that he just walked up to us. He should have some understanding of stranger danger by now." I state.
"Yeah, that is quite true, he mustn't be that close to his parents." Jiwoo pipes up.
We all make sounds of agreeance.
"We'll take him back once they stop smoking," Felix announces.
After a little bit of talking and watching the kids, I bring up a new topic.
"You know, it would be good to take Jasper to swimming lessons. Seeing, he's now old enough."
"Ooh, that would be good to see," Chan mentions.
"It's definitely a good idea to make them start swimming at a young age. You know, I used to be a swimming instructor so if you ever want me to teach him, I'd be happy to." Jiwoo offers.
"I completely forgot about that. I wouldn't want to trouble you though." I state.
"It's fine if you're ever in the area. I'd love to."
"Thank you. For when we're at home in Seoul or in Brisbane, we'll have to find somewhere so we'll talk about it when we get back to the hotel." Felix replies.
"He would be so cute though." Jeongin blurts.
We all nod and continue on with other conversations. I turn around and look at the toddler's parents and see that they've stopped smoking.
"They've stopped, can you come with me?" I ask Felix.
"Of course, I will, I was planning to anyways."
We both get up and we each take a hand of the child. We walk across the park, approaching the group of teenagers, around Felix and I's age. We are a couple of metres away when some of them notice that we have a child with us that they recognise. They all nudge a male and female, who we can only assume are the parents and they turn around to us. They give us a look of disgust and honestly, I have no clue whether it was at us or the child. The smell of cigarettes fills our noses when we reach the group.
They get up and snatch him out of our hands. "Why do you have our child?" She yells.
"Woah, calm down. He came over to us." Felix answers.
"Bullshit! Were you trying to steal him?" She exclaims.
"What, no! Why would we return him to you if we are trying to 'steal' him? That makes no sense."
"Are you saying that you wouldn't steal him? Is he not cute enough for you to steal?" She yells.
I mentally facepalm at how stupid this person is. "No, we wouldn't steal him because one, that's illegal, and two, we have our own six-and-a-half-month-old," I mention, pointing at Felix and myself.
She makes an 'o' face and turns around. We turn around as well, starting to walk back to the group.
We sit down, still confused about what just happened.
"Well, she was a bitch," I state. I pause for a moment and I realise I swore in front of CHan's parents. "I'm so sorry." I bow slightly.
Haneul and Jiwoo laugh lightly. "It's okay Y/N, she did seem like a bitch. We could hear her from here." Jiwoo mentions.
"What did you say that made her stop talking and sit down?" Haneul asks.
"I simply told her that we have a kid of our own. Nothing major." I respond.
"Why are people so weird nowadays?" Jiwoo asks, chuckling. We all shrug and Jasper starts crying, causing an almost echo through the whole park. Felix picks Jasper up and I grab the diaper change blanket, so he isn't on the food blanket, Felix quickly undoes his diaper, noticing it's still clean, and he puts on a new one anyways and looks at me.
"Open his mouth," I tell him.
I look in his mouth and notice that the top of a tooth is starting to peek through his gums. "He's just teething, that's so fun."
"Well, today has been fun. I think it's time we go back to the hotel now. 3racha has to do some more work." Chan mentions to his parents.
"Okay, well you guys get going, we can pack the food back up," Haneul mentions.
