Somehow, I made it out. I'll admit my underpants may have gotten a little wetter, but I was still very much a free man. The travel to my car parked a minute away was nerve-wracking even as I got off the man's property.
Although, even if I had gotten spotted by a camera, I was in standard clothes that were far out of my usual taste, and I had made sure that my head was down.
I was fine, I told myself. There's no way anything can be connected to me right now. I made sure to take all measures possible to ensure that I was off the police's suspect list and the only way they would find out my identity is if I was caught red-handed, but the force was too foolish for me. There was no way that would happen unless I planned on being as extravagant in the future.
Although, I certainly do enjoy the spotlight. Perhaps, one day, I shall bring that aspect into my routine. But, to play, you must first work.
And so, I headed home, and crashed upon my bed, trying not to think about the thrill I would have if I added a little flamboyance to my experiment.
Looking Back, I should have taken more pride and had my exit much more extravagant, just for the thrill of leaving my name upon everyone's tongues.
Perhaps, If I had known what awaited me, I would be more eager to entertain all.
