When I was young, I had an obsession with the little mermaid. I begged my parents for swimming lessons, and they happily obliged. They would laugh to themselves, thinking how I must want to be a merman. But that isn't it, and it never was. Why be a mer, when you can own one?
My love for the movie only grew with time. My parents were slightly worried when I was eighteen and just as obsessed as the day I saw it. But the funny thing with humans, they never said something until it was too late. I moved out, and into a nice old house. And then, I set my plan into motion.
My first victim was Attina.
She screamed as I grabbed her, although it was fruitless. It was one AM in a college town. Even if she was heard, most would pass it off later as some drunken lady. Her reddish-brown hair fit perfectly. I threw her in the back of my Suv, and drove home.
Looking back, it was a sloppy job.
