I stayed at home with Mrs. Weasley when they all went to get Harry. They knew that he'd be far more likely to accept the plan that they had come up with if I wasn't there. So I waited with Ron's mother, somehow not close to as anxious as she was. Although, she did have multiple sons that had gone. I had someone I loved and two best friends.

No one could stop me from running outside when the first group came back. I knew right away that it was Harry; he was supposed to go with Hagrid. I stopped a few yards away from them, waiting for Harry to notice that I was there.

I could see him freeze for a moment when he did.

"Cassie," he breathed out, pushing himself out of the car he was in. He walked towards me quickly, and we both slammed our lips together, not able to resist after almost two months of not seeing each other. We broke away a few moments later, knowing that we couldn't stay like that for too long.

"I missed you so much," I whispered, smiling up at him. "Are you okay? No one else is back yet."

"No one?" he asked, looking over my shoulder. We let go of each other and began to walk back to the house with Hagrid now joining us.

"Someone tipped Voldemort off," Hagrid grumbled. "We were attacked on the way. Everyone was."

"Oh god," I murmured.

"Hedwig is gone," Harry said softly. I glanced over at him, biting my lip.

"Oh...oh my god. Harry, I'm so sorry."

"Harry, dear, come in," Mrs. Weasley gasped, grabbing his arm and pulling him inside. Hagrid and I followed, and I sat back down where I had been sitting before, realizing I left my wand at the table. Ever since I had turned seventeen, I had a nervous habit of twirling my wand around in my hands, resulting in creating some sort of annoyance to everyone else - snow was the most common. I never felt fully protected without it in my hand, although I had just completely forgotten about it.

One by one, everyone came back. I couldn't look at George. Moody was dead. Everything had gone wrong...

That night, I somehow got away with sneaking into Harry's room and falling asleep with his arms wrapped around me. I wanted to stay like this forever; I wanted to feel as safe all the time as I did now.

Fleur and Bill were engaged, so everyone was helping to plan a wedding. I found it weird, planning a wedding at this time; but I joined the others, nonetheless. I wanted to take my mind off of things - mainly the fact that Harry would be leaving soon, and I'd stay behind. I had spent the entire summer planning what I'd do to find my parents. Although I at first thought my aunt would be a good start, I was going to go to my grandparents' house; it was where my mother and the rest of her family went every holiday, and my father eventually joined them. If they still lived there...if they were still alive...they might know where my parents went. The only problem was that I only knew what town they lived in; not the address. I'd need to go around and ask people.

It was when I was daydreaming about how this would work that Harry walked into the room I was staying in.

"Cassie?"

I snapped out of my thoughts and looked up at him from the journal. He stood there with a small smile on his face.

"Everyone is setting up outside. Hermione thought since we're...you know, not gonna get to see each other in a while, we should have some alone time," he explained. I nodded, setting the book down.

"Yeah."

"Do you have an idea of where you're going?" Harry asked me. I nodded.

"My grandparents' house. It's unlikely I'll find them, but...I'm hoping it will work."

Harry seemed to sense that I was upset from my voice, and ran his hand over mine as he sat down on the bed next to me. "I know you don't want to stay, Cassie, but you understand why I'm doing this, right?"

"I know," I sighed. "I just...I don't know if I'll be able to handle not knowing what's happening to you. If you're in danger or not."

"Hey, you'll be doing your own thing. You'll probably eventually forget where I am," he said.

"No, Harry, I won't," I said with a weak laugh. "I've spent the entire summer worrying about this. I don't...I don't know what I'm gonna-"

He cut me off with a kiss.

I didn't even try to pull away to continue talking to him. I melted into his arms, wrapping my own around his neck as his went around my waist. The kiss had started soft, but I could already tell where it was going. Our lips began to move quicker, and one of his hands touched a part of my back that was exposed from my shirt riding up. A shiver ran down my spine as he moved his hand up. His lips suddenly moved away from mine and he trailed kisses down my neck. He hit a soft spot, and I shied away slightly, making him smirk a little and continue kissing my neck.

"Harry," I giggled, turning my head away. He simply continued to kiss me, his lips finding mine once again, stronger. His hand traveled up my back even more, under my shirt.

Barely pulling away for even a second, I leaned back a little and muttered, "Take it off."

He didn't hesitate.

Very soon, neither of us had shirts on. He began pushing me back, and I let him, until I was pressed up against the bed. We broke away, breathless for a moment.

"Are you okay with doing this?" Harry whispered. A smile appeared on my face. I nodded.

••••••••••

"Harry, Cassie! Can you come down and help with something?" Mrs. Weasley called, her voice following the sound of the front door opening. Harry and I ripped away from each other, and I fell off the bed in the process.

"Yeah!" I shouted back. "One minute!"

We rushed to put our clothes back on, which was hard; both my shirt and pants were inside out, and getting jeans on never was easy. I still managed to change faster than Harry, who was still struggling to quickly zip his pants as I waited for him by the door. As he finally reached for the knob, I stopped him by grabbing his arm.

"What?" he hissed quietly.

"Your hair's a mess," I snickered, pushing myself up on my toes to try and neaten it to the point where it looked like it normally did.

When I pulled away, he didn't move, just smiling at me. I found myself blushing slightly, wrapping my arms around myself.

"What?" I asked with a small laugh.

"I love you," he said. I smiled.

"I love you too."

"Are you two okay?" Mrs. Weasley called.

"Yeah!" Harry quickly responded, opening the door. "We're coming down now!"

Hand in hand, we walked down the stairs and met Mrs. Weasley, going out to help set up the wedding.
