"Hello, Cassandra," the healer said as she entered my room. It was a woman, probably around my height, with tan skin and short, dark colored hair. She looked kind, setting up the equipment next to my bed with a gentle smile on her face that I already couldn't imagine her without. "So, you're seven months, correct?"

"Yes," I said, gripping Harry's hand tightly as she plugged in a screen, setting it on a table near the bed. It was odd, seeing an electronic like that used by a witch.

The healer talked me through everything as she went, having me pull up my shirt to reveal my stomach. She spread a cold, weird feeling jelly-like substance over it, the sudden freezing feeling causing me to jump a little. Harry simply squeezed my hand. When I looked up at him, he was smiling at me excitedly. It seemed that he wasn't nearly as nervous as I was; although, I wasn't sure why I was nervous at all. I knew that everything was okay. The baby, in fact, had been kicking more and more often in the past few days.

"Well, Miss Winters...I have some news for you," the healer said, sounding slightly surprised. I held Harry's hand a little tighter, my heart beginning to race. She was blocking the screen, her back to us as she stared at it.

"What? What's wrong?" I gasped, the words slurred together from how quickly I spoke.

"No, nothing is wrong," she chuckled. "Cassandra...you're having twins."

A small cry escaped my throat, Harry letting out a gasp beside me. He immediately let go of my hand to wrap his arm around my shoulders, and I leaned into him, staring at the screen as she stepped back to reveal a fuzzy black and white image. Although it wasn't a great picture, you could easily make out two babies.

"Oh my god," I murmured, tears immediately welling in my eyes. "Oh my god."

"Cassie," Harry said with a laugh. "We're having twins! We get two babies!"

I finally let out a surprised laugh of my own. "Yeah!"

"Would you like to know the genders?" the healer asked us, smiling at our excitement. I glanced over at Harry, grinning.

"What do you think?"

"Only if you want to, too," he said, smiling at me.

"Yes. We do," I responded, leaning my head on Harry's shoulder.

"One boy and one girl!" she announced, and I let out another laugh, turning to Harry with a smile on my face.

"I can't believe this," he gasped, his expression so bewildered and adorable looking that I leaned over and pressed my lips to his.

••••••••••

"Guys, we have some news for you," I said, holding my stomach as Harry and I walked into the living room. Everyone was there, besides Ollivander and Griphook, who were still resting. Bill, Fleur, Hermione, Ron, Luna, and my parents all sat there, excited expressions on their faces. The healer had just left, and they all knew that we were going to tell them the gender.

"It's a boy," Harry announced, everyone letting out cheers of excitement.

"Cassie, that's amazing!" Hermione exclaimed.

"We're so happy for you, sweetie," Dad told me, Mum nodding in agreement.

"And a girl," I finally finished, a wide smile on my face. The exclamations were even louder this time, Mum standing up to come and hug me.

"Oh, Cassie, twins!" she cried out, and I laughed.

"I know!"

"Do you have any ideas for names?" Luna asked us as Mum went back to sit down. Harry and I glanced at each other, and I looked back at her with an apologetic smile.

"We actually agreed for it to be a surprise," Harry told them. A few let out groans.

"Do you know what they are yet?" Ron asked.

"We actually just agreed on them," I chuckled, squeezing Harry's hand a little. "We both had a lot of names picked out, so each of us got to name one."

"Can you give us a hint?" Mum begged, making me laugh.

"Nope. Sorry, Mum," I said, grinning. She rolled her eyes in fake annoyance, crossing her arms.

"Look what you've done, Cassandra. You've upset your mother," Dad joked, making Harry and I laugh.

"Sorry, but this makes it more fun," I told them with a shrug.

"Do you know the due date?" Hermione asked.

"May eighteenth," I responded. "However, the healer told me it could be a few weeks off, give or take, with all the 'physical activity' I've been doing."

"She told Cassie to rest as much as possible, so I'm making her do just that," Harry announced, smiling knowingly at me as I rolled my eyes. "She's not happy about it."

"So, I'm not going to Gringotts with you guys," I sighed, wrapping my arms around the babies.

Ron scoffed a little. "As if Harry would have let you, anyway."

"As if we would have let you!" Mum added, crossing her arms. "We just got you back, and now we know you have two others with you."

"You're not doing anything that will put you in danger," Dad finished.

"As much as I hate not being there for you guys...I need to protect them," I said, rubbing my hands over my stomach and smiling down at them. "I understand."

"So, we'll be leaving next month, right?" Harry confirmed. "The potion will be ready by then?"

I went and sat down in between my parents as they discussed their plan for Gringotts. I leaned back, holding my stomach and smiling down at the bump.

"Congratulations, Cassie," Dad said softly, placing a hand on my shoulder.

"Twins," Mum sighed, grinning from ear to ear.

"Hopefully I won't have them until this is all over," I said, worrying what would happen if they were born while all these battles were going on around them. Although I want to help Harry, if I was pregnant, it would be hard, but if I wasn't, it would be harder. I couldn't leave them and go fight. Who would even take care of them?

"You came a week late, you know," Mum told me. "And Gregory came almost two weeks late."

"Would that make them late?" I asked with a sigh.

"It could," Dad said. "But...that healer was right. You've been walking around far too much. You spent a lot of time not eating enough, between trying to find us before and at the Manor. It could be quite different."

"There won't be anything wrong, will there?" I asked, suddenly panicked.

"No, no, I don't think so," Mum quickly responded.

"If anything they'll just be a little stronger when they're born," Dad chuckled, making me smile.

"I like to hope that they'll be strong."

"Oh, can't you tell us the names?" Mum whined, and I laughed, staring down at my babies.

"If I tell you, it's not a surprise."
