It was a lot colder now that we were leaving the restaurant and on our way to the party. I had to admit that even though I felt more comfortable around Harry than ever I was still so nervous about this party. It was odd to be meeting all of Harry's "friends" for the first time. He had already told me that he didn't really like these people so how was I suppose to act around people that I already knew my boyfriend was against.
It was going to be fun though, I knew that in my heart Harry and I would be having a really fun night together. New people, music, and drinks. It was a recipe for a really good night even if there was going to be a few awkward interactions along the way.
"It's crazy that your ex didn't believe in any of this type of stuff because mine didn't either. She wouldn't even entertain the idea of any of it being real", Harry added to the conversation onto all things spooky.
"We both deserve each other. We are open minded and free spirited."
"I don't deserve you sometimes, you really are too good for me", he began and a small gasp came from my lips. I felt the total opposite, I felt like Harry was completely out of my league and way too good for me.
"That's not true, Harry", I placed my hand on his shoulder and he looked over at me smiling for a second before putting his attention back onto the road.
"You look at me like I am the stars in the sky and there is nothing better in this world than me", he started and I interrupted.
"Because it's true."
He began to shook his head and he didn't respond. His insecurities killed me. He had everything going for him in the world. Harry has the most kind heart and was the easiest person to get along with and talk to.
"What can I do to show you how much you mean to me? What can I do to show you how perfect you are to me? And who made you feel this way, like you don't matter and that you aren't good enough for anyone. You are the best of people, Harry, and I hope that I can teach you that."
We pulled in front of the frat house that party was at, the frat that Harry was apart of. He gave me the look I gave him, the look that says "you are the stars in my sky and nothing in this world is better than you", and I felt his love. I felt more love in that look than I had in my whole life. I could feel his green eyes looking at everything that I was, inside and out, and I felt warm and glowly inside.
He leaned over the middle section of the car and held my head. He placed a soft kiss on my forehead and my nose before bringing his lips to mine. He kissed me with so much love and passion, so much desire and care. He put all his love for me in this kiss and I felt like I could never be in pain again. As the kiss deepened, I wanted to be all over him, feel his hands on every inch of my skin and make him feel the greatest of pleasures.
He moved his lips from mine and placed a gentle kiss on my nose.
"We can pick this up later", he said before getting out of the car, and coming to my side to open the door for me. I could feel my cheeks flushing red as I noticed how many people were outside of the frat house who could have seen Harry and I fully making out just a few seconds earlier.
"Our parties are kind of a big deal, a lot of younger kids now that we will have lots of alcohol and there isn't a lot of rules here. Liam and Brad plan all the parties, their parents fund them, then these two other newer kids, Tyler and Caleb provide any drugs that people would want. These get wild, it's loud, and lots of people. Stay close, please", Harry gave me the run down as he took his hand, intertwining our fingers, and walking into the door.
"Harry", three or four different guys shouted, rushing to his side to greet him. Harry was really sociable around me so the fact that he was instantly socializing with these guys and being really friendly with them didn't surprise me. He was fist bumping and half hugging all of these friends of his but not once did he let go of my hand and that meant a lot to me. It showed that he really did care about me and just wasn't using me or going to cut me off.
"And who is the lucky lady tonight", Harry's friend said, he had a blue flannel on and black skinny jeans, his hair was a medium brown shade and so were his eyes. He seemed to be drunk already as his eyes were glossed over and his movement was sloppy.
"Liam, is this is my girlfriend Ocean", Harry introduced me and Liam seemed to be displeased as he shook my hand and I introduced myself.
"So, you tied Harry down? Another one of my boys whipped", Liam said before shouting across the room," Brad Harry's got a girl."
Harry looked at me and rolled his eyes while both Brad and Liam weren't paying attention to us. This is exactly what he meant and had been telling me the whole entire time. The frat was all about having fun with the boys and not being tied down to one single person.
"Really, Harry is tied down?", Brad seemed a little upset about this too," I guess there is only a few single boys left around here. Pretty tragic."
"I'm Brad", he said introducing himself to me and shaking my hand. He smiled, letting his hand linger on mine for a little too long before winking a little at me. It was an uncomfortable experience to be around all of them, and seeing how against our relationship all of the guys were. Not a single one of them knew me but they were being so quick to judge the state of our relationship and Harry's happiness.
"Let's go get a drink", Harry said walking away from the group of guys, gripping my hand even tighter than he was before.
