"I can't fucking believe them", Harry said after throwing back two shots, " You see what I mean, they are just all about themselves and some people just want to move on from all of this. It's bullshit."
The kitchen was overcrowded, with people over drinking all over the island in the middle of the kitchen and every counter. I was pinned into the corner with both of Harry's arms beside me. I was trailing my fingers up and down his back in an effort to soothe him. It seemed to be working as his breathing started to steady but I didn't think this would be the last time that I would be calming Harry down tonight.
"I know, baby, I know", he walked away from me and grabbed another bottle, pouring himself a third shot. I decided that I would be the one not drink tonight, as tempting as it was to be drunk with Harry, with his emotions being all over the place one of us had to have a level head.
"We are gonna have fun tonight, babe", Harry then added, placing his lips onto my neck, "And I can show you my room here."
He wiggled his eyebrows a little and the both of us began to laugh. I then poured some liquor into the same little shot glass that Harry was using and poured myself a shot, he smiled at me as I threw it back and then directed me to where most of the people were dancing.
I noticed Liam standing against the wall with a couple of other guys and Brad was close by us dancing with a girl. It made me nervous as I made eye contact with both of them from across the room, I knew they had an eye on Harry know that just made me paranoid. I started to feel the little bit of liquor hit me and I felt like I could dance and just do my thing without caring about what people thought, or who was watching me from what direction.
After a couple minutes of dancing, Harry turned me around so that I was facing him. I could tell he was pretty drunk and that he was really enjoying himself. It made me happy to see him with such a smile on his face, he was relaxing. He needed to just let loose more and relax.
"I'm gonna get a drink, you want anything?", he asked and I shook my head. I had a feeling that one of us needed to be stable and sober. The one drink I did have made me want to drink with him even more. I wanted to drink just as much as Harry did and see where the night was going to take us.
I watched Harry from across the room as he drank and socialized and I just couldn't help but admire him. His way of being around people and commanding attention. The eye contact he maintained with each person he talked to. He looked over at me and we made eye contact, now he knew I was watching and that made me look away nervously. If you knew Harry you knew that it was hard to look away from him, he was that beautiful. He commanded your attention in the best way possible.
He came back over to me once I had finally stop watching and began watching the dancing crowd.
"You okay?", he asked and brought his lips down to my neck.
"Yeah why wouldn't I be?"
"They're staring", Harry said gesturing over to his friends on the wall, "I hate it."
"Didn't even notice", I lied and he shook his head. They had been watching Harry and I since we had first talked to them, barely moving from their stop on the wall. They watched us like they were waiting for something exciting to happen.
"Hate it", Harry pulled us onto the dance floor as the two frat brothers continued to watch us, "They're waiting for me to get into a fight with you, or take you up to my room. They will never understand that some of us have normal relationships with girls, not just sex."
I nodded and just kept dancing with Harry. His brothers really saw him as something total different than what I knew him as. It made me wonder what this side of him was like that they knew. The drunk, frat boy Harry that hooked up and fought with girls at parties. It wasn't much of my concern but I couldn't help but wonder. I knew things were different now, he wasn't really that interested in their lifestyle.
Harry brought his lips to mine and we began to make out in the crowd of people. I could feel the sexual tension rising between us the whole time while we danced and it was getting harder to ignore. Know more than ever, I wanted to be all over Harry. His hands heavy on my body, his lips leaving sloppy kisses up and down my body.
"I need you", I said our lips parting and he smirked, kissing me again this time much more urgent. I could taste the liquor on him and that was the only thing that was pushing me away from doing something with him. I didn't want to regret anything if I had any kind of sex with him. As we kissed nothing else mattered and the thought of his frat brothers watching us didn't matter to me. I was completely in the moment the longer we kissed. I felt every touch on my body and my senses were heightened in this moment.
Knocking me out on my mind was a phone vibrating in the back of my pocket. I pulled it out and handed it to Harry. He had wanted me to hold onto his phone just in case he got to drunk or wanted to make any drunk phone decisions.
"I don't want to answer. It's my sister", Harry said handing it to me but I didn't take it.
"Let's go outside and you can answer it, I think you should", he wasn't happy with me saying that but he knew I was right. He answered the call and we began to head outside.
"What's up", he said into the phone before letting his sister talk. He seemed concerned by the look on his face and I knew that wasn't a good thing. This phone call was definitely sobering him up. He began pulling his keys out of his pocket.
"Okay I'll be there", he hung up the phone and just looked at me, tears pooling in his eyes, "Can you drive me to the hospital. They think it's time."
