Bree's POV

Seeing Noah, tears pouring from his eyes, I didn't know how to respond.

His elbows were propped up onto his knees, while his hands covered up most of his face. The small fainted cries that escaped his lips weren't helping me at all. I know that I'm not the reason why he is crying, because I have never seen him cry like this, it almost makes me want to cry along with him.

"Noah?" I asked, and he didn't bother looking up at me, he just removed his hands from his face.

He was breathing hard, and tears were falling to the floor at the end of his chin.

"Don't come near me, please." He stated, and I could tell he was being serious. Obviously.

"Just tell me why you're crying, Noah." I spoke softly, wanting him to stop crying before I break down.

"No.. No." He shook his head, running his fingers through his hair, "It's nothing."

I knew he was lying, there was clearly something bothering him. His cries could confirm it.

He was sat on the edge of the bed, so I crawled behind him, wrapping my legs around him. My head laid firmly on his back, while my fingers traced his backbone. My lips softly connected to the back of his neck, and I noticed his cries were gone.

I pulled him back, practically making him lay back onto the bad, while I straddled his lap, still continuing to kiss his neck. I felt one of his hands grasp onto my waist, and the other onto my cheek.

"You wanna tell me what's wrong now?" I whispered, not breaking the tension.

"It's just my mom." He whispered back, his hands trailing to my lower back.

"What about her?" I asked, taking his earlobe in with my teeth, and letting out a small chuckle.

"Well, I received a call." He said, taking his hands underneath my shirt in the back.

"You're not giving me enough details." My whisper faded, and I felt my lips press onto his, and he was quick to kiss back.

"She'll be in the hospital for a couple of weeks.." He said, and I was only getting more confused. My fingers traced his V line, and his hands trailed further up my back.

"What do you mean? Why?" I questioned, and he didn't answer me, instead, he brought his lips to mine, pulling my focus to him.

"Noah, why? Is she hurt?" I asked, and an annoyed look appeared on his face.

"Can we talk about it later?" He asked, and I had no choice but to say yes. He obviously doesn't want to talk about it, and I'm not going to make him..

"Well can we at least talk about Sarah?" My voice hitched at her name, but I stayed calm.

He didn't answer right away, but he eventually gave in.

"..Sure." He mumbled.

"We don't have to talk about it.. I just want to make something clear." I said.

"Okay.." He said, my lips were close to his.

"You don't talk to her anymore, right?" I asked.

"I haven't talked to her since we started dating." He said, and I could tell he was being truthful.

"Oh.. And, was Sarah the girl at the party? The one that was all over you whenever I walked in?" I asked.

He nodded.

"Okay. I just wanted to know." I fake smiled, bringing my lips to his.
