After leaving the police station, I went straight to Noah's house. He seems to relieve my stress, so therefore I shall go over there. Today started off terrible explaining to that dick they call an investigator about joy best friends death. That's never fun.

My mom dropped me off and I quickly ran inside to find Noah fast asleep not even under the covers. Lucky Mrs. Allen was awake, I needed someone to keep me company while he was asleep. He looked peaceful so I didn't want to wake him.

"How are you?" I asked her, receiving a warm smile from her. It wasn't the best smile, but at least she put a little effort into it. I'm happy to even see her attempting to smile.

"I'm doing okay, not the best. I just really miss her around." She rubs her forehead, trying not to get emotional. The dark circles under her eyes tell you how her past few days have been.

Hell.

"I miss her too." I said truthfully, but she is still here. I see her like no one else does. She's in my dreams..

"What's Noah done all day?" I asked curious if he's been sleeping all day long.

"He's been up, helping me clean. I guess he got tired and took a nap." She giggled to herself. She isn't the same happy woman that she use to be. She use to be cheerful and full of life.

"How's Al doing? I haven't seen her here lately." She asked me, I answered with an okay. We talked about a few random things before Noah woke up.

"Why did you wake me?" He said giving me a warm hug. His hair was messy, just the way I liked it.

"You looked peaceful." I smile at him as he opens the refrigerator for a bottle of water.

I can tell he just work up by the way his eyes are adjusting to the room.

"Come on," he said pulling me back to his room. I waved at Mrs. Allen, receiving a smile that I've been waiting to see.

"I missed you." He said to me as I plopped down into his bed. He put a random movie in and joined me onto the mattress.

"Noah, I saw you yesterday." I laugh, cuddling up to him. He wrapped his arm around me, bringing me closer.

"Exactly, that was yesterday." He whispered, I love it when he whispers in my ear.

"You know we have to go back to school next week?" I asked making sure he knew the agenda. The school have certain people that were close to Courtney a week off to adjust from her passing. I'm thankful that they did that.

He nodded, "sucks." He yawned. "So what did you do this morning at the police station?"

"I told them everything." I said not hesitating.

"Everything as in..?"

"As in from when I almost got raped to the part where that blonde was wrapped around you like a sticker." I said sarcastically smiling at him.

He rolled his eyes, "it's not as bad if you hear my side of the story." He groans.

"Tell me then, I definitely have time." I rested my hand on his bare chest. I'm not even shy around him anymore, and it's kind of scary..

"Whenever I kissed you, I liked it. I didn't want to, but I did. In my mind I was thinking 'I can't like a sophomore' 'I can't break the rules' so whenever I went to find Courtney, this random chick was getting all up on me, so I thought the only way to forget about that kiss was for another girl to.. Ya know..." He emphasized sex.

It sort of makes since now that I think about it.

"Okay." I say.

"Okay?" He asked surprised that I'm not mad I guess.

"What?" I giggle at him, he kisses my forehead.

"I like you" the words spill out from his lips
