"As I stand here today, I would like to honor, and thank my classmates. You've turned me into the person I am today, and I couldn't ask for any other classmates. Graduation is only a concept." I took a breath of fresh air, quietly sighing to myself, "In real life, you graduate everyday. Graduation is a process that goes on until the day we die. If you can grasp that, you'll make a difference." I smiled, reading off my notecards. The blue silky gown was oddly comfortable, and a distraction from the big audience ahead of me.

"Remembering that you're going to die is the best way I know to avoid the trap of thinking you have something to lose. You are already naked, there is not one reason of why you shouldn't follow your heart. Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma. Don't let the noise of other's opinions drown out your own inner voice. Follow your heart." I said once again, "It somehow already knows what you truly want to become."

After the words left my mouth, the sound of clapping, even yelling, filled my ears, and the smile on my face couldn't have been any wider.

Seeing my mom and dad in the crowed almost brought me to tears. Seeing the way they held hands, and kissed one another on the cheek, made me happy to see my mother's smile.

I walked off the stage, taking my seat beside Al.
She grasp onto my hand, and I could see the tears in her eyes.

"Courtney would be so proud of you." Her grasp was tighter, and my breath was heavier.

I could practically see Courtney walking across the stage, snatching her diploma out of the principals hand.

If she were here, I would hug her, and we'd both fangirl at each other. We'd both cry, considering there's no more high school. We'd laugh, and hug.

If she were here.

"Baby." I heard Noah's familiar voice hug me from behind, tangling himself into my gown. His warmth was all I needed to smile, I turned around, planting a kiss right on his lips, right in front of all of my friends to dwell on.

"I'm so proud of you." He looked me oh and down, and I could see a small tear in his eye, but I didn't point it out.

"I love you." He said to me, right before my mom was wrapped into my arms, along with my dad.

"Let's get a picture." My mom jumped up and down, searching for Al.

"Noah, dear, go get Allison." My mom ordered him, and he fake groaned. I laughed at him, smiling even.

"Get one with your dad, honey." My mom pushed me to my dad's side, and eventually took the picture. Seconds later, Al came back. Her blonde hair flowed from her cap, and I couldn't help but complement her. She's my absolute best friend.

"Come here." I pulled her wrist to me, and she flung into my arms, laughing dramatically, I couldn't help but laugh as well. Tilting my head back, and squinting my round, green eyes.

My mom snapped the picture at the perfect time, Al still in my arms, silly.

"Okay, girls, let's take a serious one now." My mom growled, smiling a bit. Al and I smiled, while my mom snapped the picture.

"Beautiful girls." Noah's slung his arms around Al and I, and I loved how he was treating Al. I love the man that he's turned into. The sweet, generous man, that has every bit of my heart.

He kissed my lips softly, bringing me to a smile.

"Now you have to go to college." He stuck his tongue out, he laughed.

"Good, I get to be with you more." I laughed, I never see him besides weekends.. And it's really hard.

"We've got the whole summer." He laughed, and his smile faded into a serious look.

His knee dropped to the floors, eyes locked on mine. He grabbed my left hand, holding it into his.

"Bree Taylor." He smiled, tear were formed in his eyes, "You've made me the happiest I've ever been, and I love who I am whenever I'm with you." He looked away from my eyes, and down at his knee.

He pulled out a small black box from his pocket, opening it up for my eyes to see.

A group of people had already formed into a crowd around us.

"Breanna Ally Taylor, will you marry me?"

My lips were not longer parted, my jaw dropped, and butterfly's began to circulate my stomachs practically taking over my body.

I let out a single tear, nodding at the man I've come to love, the man I've fallen in complete love with,

"Yes." I breathed out, and it's like he was the only person I could see in the room. Our eyes were locked onto each other's, and from then on, clapping took over my thoughts, and a big smile yet to come.

He was still bowed down below me, he slid the ring onto my finger,

And I kissed my fiancé, like I've never kissed him before.
