Chapter 9 - The Prank/ The Revenge

(Maddie's Pov)

Does the universe wants me to be killed with this jerk? I know I did something wrong too but universe, why?!

"So team, let's start the search." The girl, Penny said and she leads all of us inside the school.

"It would be so nice to pick out some food while we're at this, don't you think Zayne?" That jerk was talking behind me.

It was loud enough for me to hear it.

I just did an eyeroll even if he didn't see it.

"Yeah sure," Zayne said, and the two of them went out of our sights.

"Hi, I'm penny by the way, and this is Carl," Penny said,

"Maddie, and this is Mitch my best friend." I answered

"Hi penny, hi Carl," Mitch said and she was all waving her hand like a super model.

But this Carl guy just eyerolled and he turned his head back at us.

"I'm sorry about Carl, he's always like that when he sees girls that are much beautiful than him." Penny said, and she laughed, Carl just crossed his arms.

"He's a gay." Penny added, "So shall we continue searching?"

(James's Pov)

"Ahh dude, the canteen's this way. Where are you going?" Zayne pointed at the opposite direction where I was going.

But I still continued walking,

"I didn't really want to eat, you go. I'm just gonna grab something." I said, and Zayne left me.

I opened the Janitor's closet and took the can of oil inside.

(Maddie's Pov)

It's been half an hour since we started searching, and we can't find any signs.

"Hey I just saw a purple sign back there," Mitch said,

"No, the signs was suppose to be in rainbow order, which means the first one we'll have to find is the red one." Penny explained,

"What if we split up? We could find the signs faster that way." I said,

"Good Idea, I'll go this way." Carl pointed at his left.

"And me and Penny will go this way." Mitch said,

And I guess I have to search on my own.

This would be so easy if the others were helping,

(James's Pov)

Other than being the most handsome of all in Julliard, I'm most known as the greatest prankster in the whole campus.

I poured the oil all over the floor, it's white, and it really doesn't tell much difference.

"James, there you are,"

"No, no, don't wa-" I said to Zayne, "don't walk any closer,"

"What have you done now?" He asked, while carrying a Taco with him.

"Look, I want you to find Maddie, tell her that we found the red sign over here, can you do that?" I said to Zayne,

"Yeah, I'll do it. Geez, you really want to kill her, do you." He said and walks away.

And for his question. My answer's yes, no one messes with the king.

(Maddie's Pov)

I was walking around the hallway in circles, but I couldn't find any of the signs.

"Maddie," someone called me from the back.

I turned around, it was Zayne. The Jerk's friend.

"I found the first sign," he said,

Thank you for being so helpful, unlike your friend,

"Where is it?" I asked,

"It's just right across that hallway." He pointed, "You handle that, I don't know any of the questions."

He left after saying that,

I'm here at the hall he was talking about but I see no sigggnnns!!!

"Ow!" I said, after being slipped on the floor.

My butt hurts,

"Ow, ow, ow."

Other than my butt, I think my ankle twist a bit.

"My ankle," I cried, not literally. (I don't cry)

I feel like there's someone at my back, but I can't turn my head, 'cause I'm busy massaging my ankle.

"Who puts an oil in the middle of the way." I said to myself.

"Someone who's bad enough to do it on purpose just to get his revenge, maybe." Someone started talking at my back.

I already know who it is.

"I knew it." I whispered, and I don't intend to make eye contact with him.

He stood in front of me, and bent his knees down.

My head was facing down,

He lift my chin up with his fingers,

"I like seeing you like this. I like seeing you suffering from all of your mistakes, I like you..."

"I like you to be my personal dog, so that I can treat you the way that you deserve." He said,

"Hah!" I laughed, he let go of my chin.

"You wish, I'm not that kind of person who plays easy-to-get just because they're scared of you!"

He took something in his pockets.

Is that my bracelet! I widened my eyes.

"You won't get this, if you deny it." He said,

I tried to grab it, but his hands are too quick.

"Be my dog." He said,

I smiled, "NEVER!" I shouted. "That bracelet's yours." I stood up from the floor and went out of his sight.
