Chapter 11 - I fell 'ON' him

(James's Pov)

The game ended, and look who just won.

Me and my team are so the best.

Good thing that guardian told Maddie the wrong clue,

"Penny, have you seen Maddie?" Mitch asked Penny.

"I haven't,"

I was just standing here, when this Mitch girl was starting to glare at me.

"Where is she?" She asked me, and she looked like she was gonna kill me or something.

"I don't know." I said,

"Tell me where she is, or I'll do the same what she did to you last time." She really looked like she's gonna kill me.

"Coack Evans, James won't tell us where our friend is. Can you just take back what you said earlier. The one being exempted." Penny said,

"Fine, fine, I'll take you to her." I said,

It's for the test.

(Maddie's Pov)

Ugh, it's been an hour since he locked me in here.

Here I am standing beside the door, actually I'm leaning on it, waiting for someone to open it.

But then, the door I was leaning onto unexpectedly opened outwards.

I didn't caught myself.

And so that I fell,

The jerk who opened the door caught me, but he also fell.

I LITERALLY FELL ON HIM!

I quickly got up, and I felt awkward between us.

"Maddie, what happened." Mitch said,

"I-um...He," I shook my head. "This jerk locked me in."

He stood up from the floor. "Be thankful, that I even thought of setting you free." He said,

"Oh yeah sure, I'm so thankful." I just made sarcasm.

After that, Mitch and Penny pulled me away from him.

We all went back to the classroom, so I guess It's time to take the test, even if it's my first day here. I will still take it.

Coach Evans went in our room.

"Class, unfortunately, you won't be having your test tomorrow."

Everyone shouted with joy,

"Instead you'll be going straight home, because the power will go out soon. Ordered by Luke's dad." Coach said,

Everyone rushed out the room, including the four gangsters.

"Maddie, Mitch, would you like to come with us?" Penny asked us.

"Where are we going?" I asked,

"Hearted Cafe." Carl answered,

"Oh no, count me out, someone tells me to not get back at that place ever again." I said,

"Oh come on Maddie, don't be such a killer joy. We'll come!" Mitch grabbed my arm, and she pulled me following Penny and Carl on their  way to the place.

(Mitch's Pov)

"Wow, you guys have a car?" I said,

We're outside the campus.

"Can you drive this?" I asked again.

"Carl, knows how to drive, since it's her I mean his car." Penny said,

We went in and Carl drove us to the Hearted Cafe.

"Hey, penny. Can I ask you something?" Maddie leaned forward to reach Penny at the front.

"How long have you been classmates with those jerks?" Maddie asked,

"Oh you mean, James? In about five years or more. Why?"

"Is he really like that? I mean, he really has no respect for girls, does he?" Maddie asked,

"Um, I wouldn't say that he really doesn't respect girls, he's just, you know, a gangster when his mom didn't told him to be good." Penny explained,

"What?" Maddie asked, and me and Carl was just listening to them.

"He's got family problems, or mostly a father problem." Penny said,

"Change topic!" Carl shouted in the car, while he's driving.

"Do you two know the real reason why we go to that cafe everyday?" Carl said,

"No, we didn't even know that you guys go there everyday." I said,

"We actually work there,the two of us." Penny said,

The Car stopped,

"We're here," Carl said,
